Consensus on Gigabyte gaming laptops?, any alternative?

hi there, what is the consensus of Gigabyte gaming laptops ? -Are they known to be well made? -What about the matte ips screen ? is it as pretty as Ideapad 700 ?
Seriously considering the P55G V5.
any help greatly appreciated
