Language is always judged in 4 key numerators which often appears in interview process :
- Written
- Spoken
- Reading
- Listening
So to master them you just have to adopt the western culture first (which are mostly based in english).
- Watch English shows (NEVER EVER READ THE SUBTITLES), you must learn to hear which will then make the transition easier. As I said WATCH not read. Try the basics like Simpsons then slowly moves to Documentaries or News channel. Most thought they watching but actually they are actually reading the movie (subtitles).
- Read all kinds of material. Read fiction, non-fiction, comics, magazines, newpapers,....etc. When you start reading you will read.
- When you read your books, read them aloud (like how Muslims practice their Arabic verses with the Quran).
- Writing comes with practice. The more the better.
