Haha, ya that's one of the problem too. I think I had bought a quite thin swimming trunk, a bit thin for me. It has liner, but when wear, I feel not comfortable. I feel like full naked in front of people. So wear 2 pieces always. Haha...

Erm...Actually breath in using mouth and exhale using nose is the appropriate way. That's why we have to learn "bubbles" before going to learn the breathing process in swimming process. My swimming trunk a? Speedo one...

"Bubbles" is a underwater breathing process, to let the swimmer get used to breath underwater:) Basically just inhale in the air, but exhale beneath the water. It's used to be doing deep breathing for swimmer after swim.

alucard_my, I know the way to do flip turn, but when I try to flip over, seems not enough power to make my body do a round flip Coach didn't teach us flip turn. And back stroke also, the actual way to do back stroke I didn't learn as well. Sigh...

artemis thanks for your explanation. But as I known for a beginner, they are taught to do flip turn on spot before swim and do the flip turn. Your theory of kicking momentum is okay, but not suitable for a beginner We mentioned about Backstroke style, not backstroke flip turn alucard I'll try out your way when doing turn. Bring my knees toward my chest...This sounds easier then...Thanks Hope we have chance to swim together, hehe...

Damn...I still can't do the flip perfectly... I saw someone do the flip from side to side. Wondering this is better or the upside down turn...

Side to side means, the flip is be done the half way only...Means it's actually: Touch the wall, and then turn your body on the surface of the water (not the flip we mentioning, just merely the swim forth and back process). But now I saw her do that in water, looks like a up down flip but actually it's a side to side flip... By the way I have difficulty to roll my body to do the full flip. Sometimes can sometimes can't. And sometimes I may need to use my hands to aid for my body to do a roll...

Yes I can do the moves for pull, when I was starting to flip, I can't really turn my body fully. Most of the time half way (head down side and legs hang half way). To complete the other half move, I need to use my hands to crawl in the water so that I have force to flip my body... Sometimes, I can do the flip perfectly surprisingly. It must be something wrong I can't figure out myself. It may because of I lost the direction when doing flips... I'm not sure...

I see....Maybe this is the point. No...No one shows me. I'll try your theory when I'm free...Thanks

I found it out already Success rate is 90% now, the 10% is sometimes the timing to do flipping incorrect...

The flip la what else haha, this in the only thing I need to learn in swimming (and back stroke, which I don't have much interest). The small kick really useful to help your body flipped. Cool...~~

Ya, it's huge difference with and without kick...if you want, just try without kick, you'll feel what I felt before. Hang upside down in the pool, haha...

QUOTE(Angel86 @ Jun 10 2009, 01:48 AM) My friend stays in a penthouse there and i often go but you need to have resident pass if you wanna use the facilities there. In this world not everything needed to stick with the rule...Rule created by human being anyway The alternatives are always there, honestly I don't have access card, but I can book any court in the condo, of course including swimming...

QUOTE(Angel86 @ Jun 11 2009, 04:41 PM) But i think if i am a resident there and there's outsiders coming into my condo and using the facilities i wouldnt like it.Would you? Definitely But what to do since if you are so keen to swim but due to transport problem the only way you can do is find an alternative to fulfill your wishes No worries, alternative doesn't mean against the law...Many residents inside paid for maintenance fee but never use the facilities, included my colleagues and friends who living there. I'm just using the residential status to gain the access. Considered legitimate, LOL

QUOTE(Angel86 @ Jun 11 2009, 07:24 PM) Coz normally people who stay at condo bored adi so they wont go often.thats what i see la. My colleagues, couple of them live there yearly, but never go for swimming...Help them utilise the maintenance fee only. Anyway not everyone like to swim. And I also always choose off-peak hour to "intrude" haha...So that I won't really disturb the residents there to do regular swimming...Bro don't hate me, I'm still a considerable person, haha...
