shud see me on the adult class there during Mon. Wed and Thurs..

BTW I am looking for swimming product, eg: Free style snorkel (prefer the straight one), maybe a lap time counter? auto record your lap / stroke time/count..

Only found Arena and Speedo in Msia, some TYR.. Any idea where to get Finis product?

Blow a little out when you flip? so that water cannot enter

QUOTE(timetravelller @ May 3 2012, 12:02 PM)
yesterday ayam swimming at the pool. at 1 time idling for a while due to observing some other pro swim efficient front crawl. then I try to imitate him extending the arm to maximum (this was done after idling for a while) then all of sudden I feel excruciating pain on my lower part of my leg, not foot. I guess it was cramp. thankfully it was 1.2m and I can still stand v a leg in bend position (due to the cramp can't stretch). why this happen? is it because of the water is cold (after rain yesterday) and it cold down my muscle and sudden motion cause it cramp?
*
requires some shoulder flexibility to do full extension, you hips gotta rotate and and you must "elongate" your body to reach futher

actually there is, advertise in The Star last week, sold in Pharmacy.. sound like a marketing gimmick to me.. your hair gonna be sticky and dry anyhow when you swim a lot.. just put more moisturiser..

any shop/brand recommended for goggles with power?
*
if you need individual powered goggles (meaning L and R different power) only choice would be speedo in Gardens, no discounts almost all year long, cost like RM50 per side.

I usually just ignore the power since you don't have to see that clear in water.. If visibility is a problem, such that I am doing open water race. I would wear contact lens.

Now I am using TYR clear, white and non-coated goggles, RM29.90 with 50% now, another TYR metalised red coated lens, RM59.90 with 20% now. Bought in Leisure mall (or any other world of sport outlet). Very comfortable because of the silicon straps. I prefer the RM59.90 one but then it's coated, less visibility in swimming pool.

all goggles are anti-fogged by defaut, the coating will worn off within a month to my experience (bought a RM90 speedo goggles last time, same case).

on the power get something lower cause i heard it will cause dizziness, i cant comment on this area cause I am wearing non powered goggles although my astig is close to 450 at one eye, 350 another.

never bother to get expensive goggles now, before this using arena Rm29.90 goggles to swim alright, but lost it one night before Kapas Marang.. important is that the goggle must fit your face feature / shape

regarding antifog solution, all those expensive antifog solution simply doesn't work.. What I do is that.. I will either - use shampoo dilute with water.. or spit saliva on it..

those anti fog "layer" would fade away in less than 5 times u use it. saliva must very dense/thick only can form a "anti-fog layer", and felt awkward to do it at public blush.gif best is squeeze a little toothpaste and apply on it b4 swim. very effective.. thumbup.gif
*
awkward is better than foggy lens haha.. i will only do that in open water, when no other solution is available..
