Placed a 12 MONTHS STEP-UP FD with RHB (Cycle 1: 1-3 month @ 4.00%; Cycle 2: 4-6 month @ 4.15%; Cycle 3: 7-9 month @ 4.25%; Cycle 4: 10-12 month @ 4.60%) with an effective rate of 4.25% p.a. last month. The maturity date printed on the slip, however, was 3 months instead of 12 months from the date of deposit. Will the promotional rate be affected by this OPR cut?

Depend on what u do after the uplift. I find the return to be attractive for temporary funds (parked 100k+ there now).

Have anyone loss the principal amount by investing in GIA-i ? In the product disclosure sheet, it stated that the customers will borne the loss if the fund does not perform as expected.

Ask them for product disclosure sheet and T&C. if gteed 4.8% and gteed capital, i think can seriously consider
