Ehh I went to this exact store... Like a typical accessory store, he advertises a for very cheap, then tells you that a is no longer available, how about I sell you b, which is much more exp (b was available on lazada for 1/2 the price) he didn't want to confirm he had the product before I headed over, whatsapped him, called him, he said just come.... i wanted to negotiate prices with him and but he arrogantly told me that he was the cheapest around and I should just not buy anyhing (well I obviously didn't get my stuff from him at that point, I bought it all online, with free shipping to boot)

Some of his adds are very misleading, don't state the 'amount you get' for the price stated on mudah.. (Though to be fair, one should have been able to guess given its price tag)

I didn't not know they were this thugish though and wish you a speedy recovery ts...

edit:
lazada at its best, sent me my items, slightly different from advertised. Sent in one email, within the hour they responded apologetically basically telling me, they will refund me later(not sure how yet though), keep the stuff we don't need it back....

pro: well customer service thumbup.gif , i get free things due to the blunder (not like the items are totally unusable)
con: ohh god i got to reorder my items sad.gif
conclusion: max can(should) learn from this

it is just a rim cap, why dont install them on the spot by him or yurself...
typically he just wanted to bluff you away
*
i was also wondering why max or ts didnt just do it himself... it takes like 30 secs to remove one (assuming the old ones were still on) and another 30 secs to put it on again

acc shop fella sure know how to remove and install

ts should also know this for obvious reasons (tayar pancit die)

The truth is when I asked about this rim cap they actually lie to me where they told me I have to take out my nat and bolt of my tyre to put it in. I message the mother and the son regarding this. They initially charged me RM20 for the installation for the rim cap but manage to bargain till rm10. I never thought the rim cap is just cap on and install only but guess they lie about that too.

Conversation with the Max's mother:
[attachmentid=6744004]    [attachmentid=6744007]
Conversation with Max:
[attachmentid=6744013]

[attachmentid=6744014]

As you can see this is their bargaining startergy. They are both beside each other and they both playing the good cop bad cop. One higher the price another lower it. But come to think of it does it worth RM20 for installation for a rim cap? This is how much they are being dishonest to their customer.

Also if I know this is cap on I would not have buy from them as I thought its stick to the rim with the tyre nat and bolt. Sorry for the inexperience in cars  sad.gif
*
there might be abit of misunderstandings in that conversation? I think they meant 'keluar' as in just remove the hubs (btw those are called hubs) but wierd that they didnt just help you on the spot....

while i dont think they are completely truthful (i mentioned my experience my 1st reply) and are alittle arrogant, i do think their prices are pretty decent, its really not cutthroat yet....

edit: how come you didnt know how to replace the hubs, not a complicated thing to do... mau replace tyre also kene know these things yo...

TS asked "perlu ambil nat kluar"....to which the seller answered "ambil keluar dan letak"

In any case, for a simple job of snapping the rim cover on to the rim need to charge RM10-20?
*
from my previous messages with them... the way they reply is also one kind... not clear instructions ==" half way through i thought , nvm ill just come over and check it out myself.... reach there, they say ohh that one no more already.... i had even specifically asked if they had stock, they said yes got, when i asked why they replied that they had stock, they told me, they have others as well.... alamak bangs head at that point

like calling dominoes to ask if they have durian pizza, getting a positive answer, then reaching there and finding out that they only have lemon pizzas

i work in an automotive part shop before when i was in highschool. This is the boss tatic to get you to go to their shop and spend. eventhough they don't have stock, they will say got, "mari la, u mari, tengok, kalao ngam, u angkat"

same shit. same standard line. Never fall for this.
*
lol no choice anyway, one way i had to go there anyway. Ohh well far as im concerned, im not going there again icon_rolleyes.gif lazada (shipps stuff from china now) has what i need, no need to pay shipping/petrol, no need to drag my butt out the house(other than to collect from the delivery guy), cheaper too.. thats a win to me hahaha

Oh, too bad about the invoice

i checked the company registration number 414062-W and it belongs to DB SPEC ELECTRONIC SDN BHD

if max corp sb is gst registered, i'd make more damage by reporting them to customs dept for not issuing a tax invoice. the fine is around 5k iinm.
*
well their mudah link/id is mudah.my/max-low-db-spec-electronic-sdn-bhd-puchong so, should be right

Maxcorp, are you dumb or what? You don't measure the wheel with a measurement tape!! From the tyre profile there are number indicating the rim size already.

Damn seems like this maxcorp confirm is a kaki conman!
*
frankly i dont think he is a conman, a conman would not have been able to stay in business so long... he has quite the shop too, many products nod.gif

maxcorp i do think you could have easily checked your inventory for the wrap and lights before i dropped by. at least this way one would not have to go all the way there just to find that the exact pattern one wants is no longer available. sweat.gif thats Im no business student/businessman but good customer service is one of the best customer retention strategies there is... (imo anyway icon_idea.gif)

anyway putting that aside, if anything you should really be defending yourself from the claims that you basically threw ts out of your shop.... the rest is business that's all fine and dandy but the throwing out of a customer on the other hand..... that takes it to a whole different level shakehead.gif

how long more u wan me to talk ? its getting boring keep on repeating the same things. and for your money part. rm40 is nothing to me. do u know how much of money i use to buy my stocks ? do u even know wat is my monthly turnoever ? and because of your rm40 ? think properly pls. the installation fee is the price the shop charge not me. u agreed for the installation fee. if u dont agree dont come. i didnt force u anything. and i only collect that rm40. the rest is u paid it to the shop. how would i know wat car wat size ? if u had change yout tyre ? so tat is why from the start i ad asked u wat is your wheel cover size. u cannot give me a confirm answer. so i had to go to your car which is outside very hot to measure your wheel cover size. u saw the measurement together with me. i ad say i can change only u insist on the refunding. and when the police come u also don wanna change but why suddenly u are so willing to change ? u have a degree as a keyboard warrior ?

if u wanna make scenes in my shop of cause for sure i will ask u to go out. tat is my shop my office. u only pay me for the product. the service u paid to the installer. rm10. its not even rm20. if u really wanna do tis. i can. in court. we can call the installer come rm10 or 20. and also my ppl at my office. not a problem. u are the one agreeing to the price not me. now u wanna say i am exp ? then why did u come in the first place ?

Max, how you measure? Diameter of the rim or diameter of rim + tayar? Unless you selling kompang that covers the tayar also, why measure the tayar?

Oh btw, Delon you also abit wrong. As a car owner by law (IINM) you have to check your vehicle before driving, which means to know about/what is in/on/at your car such as normal things like rim size, petrol or diesel, FWD/AWD/RWD, LHD/RHD, while things like EO all that is okay, no need to know.

Max, as a seller you MUST know what you're selling. Takkan old unker don't know about phone go Apple shop ask for iPhone 6S, then seller don't know, just give IPhone 6. Ridiculous ain't it?

Mod wherever you may be, might wanna transfer this tered to Dispute Resolution Corner or just /k also can 😂
*
eerk!!

paling terk pun Dispute Resolution Corner ....... masuk /k, this will turn into fiasco/witch hunt icon_question.gif

Hi Delon, just a word of advice, I do suggest next time to get suggestions from any car friend you might have on what shops to visit before actually visiting on your own, many shops are unscrupulous and it's difficult to find the proper one. Getting an opinion from someone who know's some basics is always your best bet to finding what parts you need.
*
^truth!

delonwong nak tanya, you are welcome to ask in f&f haha many sifu's around who will probably help u rclxms.gif

I don't know from which part of the world you are from, but this is totally hilarious. You are basically telling many women drivers, or even some men drivers to NOT drive.

That is an ideal concept, but it remains just that, a concept. By law? Kindly enlighten us on this 'law'.
*
onestly this is very true, does not only apply to women.... some of my friends cant change their own tyres.... bangwall.gif lots of the young fellas dont even know how to top up their radiators and im sure some cant even tell where the dipstick is without looking (im sure they can guess but if they have a engine oil dipstick and a transmission dipstick i guaranty that they will be playing tembak)

You're again implying that in an ideal world. But it's not an ideal world we live in. Back in the days when an attendant pumps for us, many weren't sure. Of course now that you have to pump on your own, many already know how to.

But item 2, many just leave it to their service intervals. And for item 3, most women DO NOT WANT to learn, because it requires some strength, to lift the spare tire out of the boot, to loosen the nuts and last but not least, it's DIRTY  laugh.gif Women that knows how are true gems  wub.gif

So, all they have to do is dial the phone, for some 24 hours assistance or some friends. We all know this to be true.
*
to be honest if i had a puncture i would cry..... alot of work for a skinny fella and my car isnt very... how do you put it, 'maintenance friendly' i think lepas tukar tyre, no energy to drive back liao haha

*eik yup lari topic lagi*

thats the worst part lol, most people would be extremely careful about that they say when their rep is on the line, but this fela pulled the safety pin.....

hope everyone learns something through this....
-careful what you say (lets try not offend others)
-keep emotions in check (a few explosions are fine, everyone has a line but lets keep that to the minimum)
-know the product you want to sell OR want to buy
-research research research, you can never research to much

I talking about MAX CORPORATION SDN. BHD. The seller is also using this company name.
I can't find it on SSM database.
Could be an old name. Registration number would help.

Since everyone is sharing, i've also encountered similar situation. Saw ad in mudah for bonnet damper for rm70 but when i've arrived, price went up to rm85. But because i really really need the stuff so i just pay and leave.

I wonder if the price put in mudah will be honored or not.
*
the other case are those posting price A, then wen you go over to purchase it, they tell you that that price is only if you take xx units... not stated in the add whatsoever (not even listed as a borong company), if you do encounter these kinds of adds, report to mudah...

not deniable that most of buyer are just looking at the price, no research or analyse

well... in these cases in particular no amount of research and analysis can help cause one would assume the product will sell at the stated price (especially if you go over after getting confirmation of availability)

lol if this appears in /k habis.. sure kecoh, god knows what info the /k army will korek from the depts of the internet and imagine the unwanted fame....
