Today on the 30/5/2016 I went to Max Corporation Sdn Bhd, Puchong to get myself a wheel cover cap for my Proton BLM.

I contacted the seller Max Low (+60 16-323 3863) through Whatsapp and everything was fine till I went to the shop to purchase the product. I have very little knowledge about cars so I decided to put my trust on Max. It was the biggest mistake of my life as though you thought you can trust some random stranger. When i brought my car to install the product Max told me that he have no workers today or which are busy and I have to go other place to install. I was skeptical at first as why do I need to install it at other place which he promise to settle it for me. I agree to go to his friend shop to do the distillation.

Before that he ask my car rim is how many inch. I have no clue and I told him to help me check. He measured and he told me its 14 inch and little do I remember at the moment the rim size can be check at the tyres number there. I told him that the car tyres said is R13 but he keep insisting and telling me that its 14 inch and trust him. Since I have very little knowledge about car, hey why not trust the guy who is selling these accessories.

I then move forward to his friend shop (Frankie), Super Blue Sky Accesories which is also located nearby but I needed to cross the sky-over bridge at Puchong, Batu 14. When I arrived and one of Frankie staff attend to me and assist me to install the wheel cover cap. While he is trying to install he told me that the cover size is wrong and he is unable to install it. The worker then told me that the wheel cover is too big and it should be 13 inch. When I saw the wheel cover cap, I noticed is even the wrong design as showed from Max. I immediately Whatsapp Max and he told me he did not make any error and when I send him the pictures he just tell me " Oh, tat means left tid design, just check stock'. And when I ask him so how he did not reply back.

I got so frustrated and dissapointed bangwall.gif as Max wasted so much of my time and petrol from going from one place to another and now the wrong size and design rclxub.gif . I was also in a rush of time to fetch my sister from work and I had to call Uber to fetch her sad.gif. Continuing, not only Max did not take any responsibility and saying sorry for his mistakes, he did not even want to admit them. I then immediately when back to ask for a refund as I can't stand dealing with dishonest seller. I swear I kept my cool and did not raise my voice or be rude at all towards Max. But then Max immediately snap like some psychopath and keep saying that I am being rude. All i did was I came in and I said "Hey Max, I want to get a refund because the item you gave me was wrong". I have no idea what was his problem but he have some anger management issues. Not only that, he keep cursing bad words (Chinese bad words and f*ck) towards me ranting.gif and ask me to get out from his shop. I was so angry and I ask him what is your problem and how could you treat your customer like this. He then said who am I, which I replied a customer and he then answer back I am just a supplier not your babysitter. He told me that if I want to exchange can but now cannot because I was being rude to him.

OMG vmad.gif I had never raise my voice, never even curse a single bad word or even use any violence gesture. Which part of me is being rude besides me politely asking a refund for your dishonesty? With such bad manners, attitude and work etiquette, I don't know how they manage their business. Worst part was his mother, knowing he was wrong and just keeping quiet there and even trying to help his son. I understand supporting family is one thing but none of them can be reasonable or question that their son, Max Low is wrong in doing business like this. How can a seller or supplier treat their customer in a manner when they are at fault? He keep insisting that because he stick a sign that is non refundable I was not able to refund it. Their receipt never say such a thing and how do you expect a customer to see the side of the wall where I am here to buy my product. They even compare their shop with 7-Eleven doh.gif .

To make things worst, Max father came and intervene. Without knowing anything that happen the father scolded me and drag me out of the shop. He pull my hand from the chair and then Max assisted in pushing and punching me out of the door. Luckily for me I only have bruises on my right arm and elbow. If I was there any longer I could lose my life with this crazy family. He then throw the box of wheel cap cover towards me and ask me to go away. So not only I didn't get my refund, I didn't get my exchange wheel cap cover. After that I immediately call the police and the police help me to exchange the wheel cap cover with Max and his father. By the time the police came, Max and his father was acting all good and saying that nothing had happen is only because I was being rude to Max. At that moment I said back to him keep telling yourself that is what happen as I know who your whole family really are.

Without trying to argue anymore I just left even though injured but I still made a police report as a safe cover for myself in case something else happen to me cry.gif .

So guys I am really not here to randomly bash a company or shop but what I can tell you from my experience this family business is crazy. These people are crazy and violent especially Max and his father. You can check the google reviews last 2 weeks from other people and you can know I am not the only one. Just wanted EVERYONE to know to avoid this shop at all cost despite how cheap they sell things because if anything were to happen to the product their aftersales wont help you at all but even endanger your own life icon_question.gif.

Hi lucifer thanks for asking these questions.

1. Delivery note as invoice?
A. No this is not a invoice, this is actually the receipt they claim that they gave to me.

2. Delivery note has no company name / stamp ?
A. Yes exactly, I have mention this many times that the receipt they gave me is not official but they claim that it have the serial no which if it tele with their record and from their shop is official.

3. TS has never been active but suddenly posted a very long story
A. Yes I have never been an active poster but I do follow up reviews, guides and comments from other member in Lowyat Forum. The reason I posted this long story as I have never believe such experience could happen where the seller will attacked the customer because of this. I as a community would like to do my part and share this horrible experience as I would not want anyone else to experience what I did. The truth is this as if anyone would like to investigate they could freely do so by checking the shop at the sides and also the reciept that they gave me.

A. I believe it is related to Lowyat.net as here we share reviews and guide about recommend or not recommended shop. As for me I really have suffer injuries as of the dates are just yesterday. So yeah I am glad I did not suffer any major injury which would cost any disability or even my life. When being attacked by one person is not enough having 2 people attacking you at the same time is very traumatizing.

That is all I am here to share with all. I would like to clarify that I am not here to defame anyone. Feel free to check around and if there is any feedback from the police due to my injury i will update here.

Thanks a lot for caring smile.gif. Yes I really never expected a small buying experience could turn up to become something so devastating. The mother was actually okay as she kept quiet most of the time and as for the smaller brother he was not there. Don't let the Max guy fool you, when he snaps he is a whole different person throwing stuff here and there.

I also regret my decision. I actually live at Bandar Utama area and purchasing his product at Puchong is actually really far. If i had know this would happen to me I would have research around my area more.

OMG I feel you shocking.gif . Same scenario where Max told me to trust him that the rims are 14 inch and to install some other place because his workers are busy. When want to exchange and even refund he just snaps and release all his anger towards me. Yes the old man (his father) also didn't make any sense as he just support his son without hearing anything from me and assist in pushing me out cry.gif .

Yeah but they didn't refund to me they only exchange it for me. They say they can't and wont refund to me sad.gif . At first they don't want to exchange or refund . When the police come to settle they say they are willing to exchange. Their suddenly put up their acting skills so I just take what I came for and left.

The truth is when I asked about this rim cap they actually lie to me where they told me I have to take out my nat and bolt of my tyre to put it in. I message the mother and the son regarding this. They initially charged me RM20 for the installation for the rim cap but manage to bargain till rm10. I never thought the rim cap is just cap on and install only but guess they lie about that too.

As you can see this is their bargaining startergy. They are both beside each other and they both playing the good cop bad cop. One higher the price another lower it. But come to think of it does it worth RM20 for installation for a rim cap? This is how much they are being dishonest to their customer.

Also if I know this is cap on I would not have buy from them as I thought its stick to the rim with the tyre nat and bolt. Sorry for the inexperience in cars sad.gif

Hi, after messaging her that time I did call her to double confirm and she told me that the nat are required to be taken out to install the cover. She was also surprise where she didn't thought I was a Chinese. That is why at first i was thinking RM20 for installation its maybe okay because you need to drill out the nat and put the cover in. But little do i know when I was there its actually a cap on cover. I already message Max and manage to bargain to RM 10 but then again I had no idea is a cap on wheel cover if not I would have done it myself. Then again I apologize because I have very little knowledge about cars and I expected them to help me where they are actually selling them.

Even till to very end where he told me to install another place( his friend's place) I still thought that it requires the nat to be remove to be install.

Hi, good question. I know how to open the wheel cover but what I was told that the wheel cover they are selling me requires the nat to be removed to install. That is why I believe them which they initially charge me RM20 for the installation. What I didn't know that one of the workers in other workshop told me that there is no wheel cover that can be install that way but only clip on.

Hi yes I agree that the installation price is that we both agree. But that is because one of them told me it requires the nat to be remove and install. As I reply in a post I have no complain of the installation price if it requires the nat to be remove as they claim but the truth is that it just required it to be cap on. Hi, because I went to quite some shops like Brothers and other car accessories and they don't have the stock for proton saga blm size( 13inch now I am sure of the size). One day I check their Mudah ad and I was like 'why not give it a try, what is the worst that could happen'. Which here I am now.

and for the design. the factory mix the design i would not know because everything is kept in the box. he open the box and check himself and left. and afterwards he came back. but for 13" i have the exact design he wanted but he also didnt want and only insists on a refund.

Finally he is here. Max the almighty who uses violence to settle things. Let me make this clear I put my trust on you and you told me to trust you with the product. Without a doubt, I didn't check the product at all and proceed to your friend shop for installation. Why? Because I had to fetch my sister which was waiting for me which is why I decided to trust you. Let me tell you this Max, you keep avoiding your responsibility that you are just the seller then why do you even offer the service installation? After I took up your service installation you give me this kind of attitude? Why i keep insisting on the refund? Because of the way you deal business.
1) You don't even know the size of rim cover you are selling. (If I don't trust the seller who else can I trust?)
2) You asked me to go to another shop to install (Price are rm20 or a snap on? Come on)
3) You didnt take any responsibility when you make the mistake for the rim size and design through whatsapp (I already message you the picture but or you did was blame your stock)
4) I was going through and flow for what? A rim cover?
5) When I came to the shop to ask for a refund, what is your problem getting so worked up? ( You mention that it is hot to go out to measure and stuff then what about me?) I had to go here and there back and forth for your mistakes and not even a sorry?

And stop telling people your lies where you are the one who ask to exchange which I don't want. I only decided not to exchange and want my money back because of your terrible customer service and attitude. So what if you stick all the signs. Are those registered by the law or for your own satisfaction? Even your receipt is not official so don't give me some lies that you stick some signs and it is enforce by the law (so does that mean i stick a sign allowed to kill people and if I did you are right?) Yeah my only mistake here was to trust you in doing business which is the biggest mistake I ever did. If you so wanted my money, you could always say so. But let me tell you this, I was not willing to spend my money on you which is why I didn't wanted your exchange because of the way you handle things and attitude.
