I contacted the seller Max Low (+60 16-323 3863) through Whatsapp and everything was fine till I went to the shop to purchase the product. I have very little knowledge about cars so I decided to put my trust on Max. It was the biggest mistake of my life as though you thought you can trust some random stranger. When i brought my car to install the product Max told me that he have no workers today or which are busy and I have to go other place to install. I was skeptical at first as why do I need to install it at other place which he promise to settle it for me. I agree to go to his friend shop to do the distillation.

Before that he ask my car rim is how many inch. I have no clue and I told him to help me check. He measured and he told me its 14 inch and little do I remember at the moment the rim size can be check at the tyres number there. I told him that the car tyres said is R13 but he keep insisting and telling me that its 14 inch and trust him. Since I have very little knowledge about car, hey why not trust the guy who is selling these accessories.

I then move forward to his friend shop (Frankie), Super Blue Sky Accesories which is also located nearby but I needed to cross the sky-over bridge at Puchong, Batu 14. When I arrived and one of Frankie staff attend to me and assist me to install the wheel cover cap. While he is trying to install he told me that the cover size is wrong and he is unable to install it. The worker then told me that the wheel cover is too big and it should be 13 inch. When I saw the wheel cover cap, I noticed is even the wrong design as showed from Max. I immediately Whatsapp Max and he told me he did not make any error and when I send him the pictures he just tell me " Oh, tat means left tid design, just check stock'. And when I ask him so how he did not reply back.

I got so frustrated and dissapointed  bangwall.gif as Max wasted so much of my time and petrol from going from one place to another and now the wrong size and design  rclxub.gif . I was also in a rush of time to fetch my sister from work and I had to call Uber to fetch her  sad.gif.  Continuing, not only Max did not take any responsibility and saying sorry for his mistakes, he did not even want to admit them. I then immediately when back to ask for a refund as I can't stand dealing with dishonest seller. I swear I kept my cool and did not raise my voice or be rude at all towards Max. But then Max immediately snap like some psychopath and keep saying that I am being rude. All i did was I came in and I said "Hey Max, I want to get a refund because the item you gave me was wrong". I have no idea what was his problem but he have some anger management issues. Not only that, he keep cursing bad words (Chinese bad words and f*ck) towards me ranting.gif and ask me to get out from his shop. I was so angry and I ask him what is your problem and how could you treat your customer like this. He then said who am I, which I replied a customer and he then answer back I am just a supplier not your babysitter. He told me that if I want to exchange can but now cannot because I was being rude to him.

OMG  vmad.gif I had never raise my voice, never even curse a single bad word or even use any violence gesture. Which part of me is being rude besides me politely asking a refund for your dishonesty? With such bad manners, attitude and work etiquette, I don't know how they manage their business. Worst part was his mother, knowing he was wrong and just keeping quiet there and even trying to help his son. I understand supporting family is one thing but none of them can be reasonable or question that their son, Max Low is wrong in doing business like this. How can a seller or supplier treat their customer in a manner when they are at fault? He keep insisting that because he stick a sign that is non refundable I was not able to refund it. Their receipt never say such a thing and how do you expect a customer to see the side of the wall where I am here to buy my product. They even compare their shop with 7-Eleven  doh.gif .

To make things worst, Max father came and intervene. Without knowing anything that happen the father scolded me and drag me out of the shop. He pull my hand from the chair and then Max assisted in pushing and punching me out of the door. Luckily for me I only have bruises on my right arm and elbow. If I was there any longer I could lose my life with this crazy family. He then throw the box of wheel cap cover towards me and ask me to go away. So not only I didn't get my refund, I didn't get my exchange wheel cap cover. After that I immediately call the police and the police help me to exchange the wheel cap cover with Max and his father. By the time the police came, Max and his father was acting all good and saying that nothing had happen is only because I was being rude to Max. At that moment I said back to him keep telling yourself that is what happen as I know who your whole family really are.

Without trying to argue anymore I just left even though injured but I still made a police report as a safe cover for myself in case something else happen to me  cry.gif .

So guys I am really not here to randomly bash a company or shop but what I can tell you from my experience this family business is crazy. These people are crazy and violent especially Max and his father. You can check the google reviews last 2 weeks from other people and you can know I am not the only one. Just wanted EVERYONE to know to avoid this shop at all cost despite how cheap they sell things because if anything were to happen to the product their aftersales wont help you at all but even endanger your own life  icon_question.gif.

Encountered this kind of situation but with different shops before. Got the owner(s) into submission and on their knees. I told them to sembah me and call me their God for which they did. Then no more problems after that. Sometimes all you have to ask is "Who's your god now?"

Got a friend who kena cheated by this Max before. Ads and real thing is different, price also different.

Conman shop. Avoid at all cost.

Not be to harsh but if you cant install a rim cap then perhaps in the first place you shouldn't be purchasing one from a place you are not familiar with. Next time before you complain , learn how to install a rim cap first then reflect to what you could have said to the seller.

sometime it's not about know or don't know install , just like i know how to install screen protector by myself , but if got bubble or dust i need makan sendiri , but if i give shop to install for me , if anything shit happen at least they will settle for me

just like gombak there also got accessories shops with quite similar starting name, but one at jalan gombak , the other at plaza idaman area... different owner

when they advertise at mudah also ask don't go wrong place or stressed that the other is copycat...

If I remember correctly I actually bought my car audio HU and a Yokohama battery from Max Automart Gombak, but all still fine though and the prices were ok too that time.

1. My question to TS is... had it been a physical assault as you described as punched took place, I am curious why you didn't get the police to arrest him on the spot backed by cctv playback by police request? The police surely saw the bruises you posted online and act on it.

2. It's your due diligence to ensure what you bought is what you need, by inspecting what he measure is correct. If price not fair you should don't pay and walk away and not quarrel about price.

3. Rim cap as a forumer pointed out, takes 30s to fix it, why didn't u do it yourself? Besides, in whatsapp you shared, seller already replied that simply "ambil keluar dan letak". But you needed installation, it's fair for workshop change a standard fee of min RM10 or RM20 per service.

4. One cannot fault another person simply that he decided to reserve his right to reveal any info for your advantage. You would not do the same either.

5. Your refusal to accept an exchange but insisted refund has sparked the argument, seller already stated it's his mistake and want to do an exchange, buying from him is a form of acceptance (unless you can prove no display no refund policy), why didn't you just get the right wheel cover exchanged and go home to sleep? instead you want to waste everyone time further by writing this.

6. I am not a fan of those who like to drag everyone in (including police) for his RM40 mistake. Do you think police duty is to be taken for granted or to take care of your feelings?

7. You said your mishaps was injury and RM40 and some hassle so focus on your injury, but why did you attack on invoice, NCCC and KPDNKK? This is your personal revenge, don't let it get to your head kiddo.

8. You said you are green (newbie) about cars, i say the same greenery could be extended to your lack of understanding on how the world runs, i.e. it doesn't revolve around you.

I have a bad experience on this shop before too ... at 1st i saw a ads regarding a car accessories on mudah selling on a much cheaper price than other sellers do , i contact them thru whatsapp on number 0163233863 which is entertained by a lady , when asked about stock availability she said its in stock .

So i went to their shop from cheras , when im there the older man (her husband i'm assume) tell me they doesn't have stock for that item but they have another one which is 3x more expensive than the the one i saw at mudah (which she said it is in stock) , so as i started to feel like im being cheated (as the price he tried to sell me are way way more expensive than even the most expensive on on mudah), i ask them why before she told me that the mentioned item is in stock while showing the whatsapp chat with the mudah page screenshoot in it , then her husband said she is mistaken it for another product and keep insist for me to buy the more expensive one , long story short after some arguments he got pissed off and told me if i want to buy then buy if not then get lost in raised voice .

Im totally speechless man , this is what our chinese call as a "Black Shop" ...

I taught that im the unlucky one , but it seems that im not alone by just searching Max corporation sdn bhd on google .

Im here just to share my story , i can only advice, if anyone who decide to purchase stuff from them , please think twice ...
