Guitar Hero 2 needs the Guitar Hero 2 SG Guitar Controller to be played as how it's meant to be played..... Somehow playing on the regular joypad just doesn't feel right...

Hell no... Nothing can compare to the REAL SG guitar controller. I played it with the controller before I got my Guitar controller..... and I think I gave up after a few songs.

And Guitar Hero 2 IS an awsome game..... mostly because of the song list...guitar freaks, although the pioneer, isn't as much fun for me, because it's mostly J-pop and songs I haven't heard of.. Guitar Hero 2 on the other hand has Sabbath, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Guns & Roses (Common...... how can you not love Sweet Child 'o Mine!!!), Van Halen.... heck.... even DethKlok!!!!

Djinn is selling Guitar Hero 2 in his shop at Cinelesuire....... but don't know if he still has stock....... it was going for RM400+ I think.....

Heck, I STILL remember Guitar Hero 1!!!!
I'm a guitarist, and having a game that caters to MY kind of lifestyle is a rarity. It's sooooooo refreshing to play a "rhythm" game that is completely different from the DDR games..... and this is MOSTLY due to the song list.
If you're not into Rock or Metal music, then this might NOT be a game for you.... keep that in mind.

For me, all my favorite bands are represented (and represented WELL I might add), and seeing my all time favorite band, Black Label Society in the first Guitar Hero..... I just shat my pants basically.....
And then I flip on to guitar hero 2 and see DethKlok and Strong Bad!!!! OMG..... Guitar-nerd heaven!!! Not to mention G&R, Lamb Of God, Spinal Tap.... it's a dream come true.

But if you can't stand metal or guitar music and rather listen to "feng-tau" type disco.... then 100%, this game is NOT for you.

I bet no one attempts to pull off stage moves while playing Guitar Hero with the SG controller but me!!! I may suck at Expert mode, but on Hard...... NO ONE can match my stage moves on Dethklok's Thunderhorse!!!! NO ONE!!!!!

It's just isn't the same without the controller man.

If your dad's in the US..... are you sure he can't find ANY place that sells the game and controller package? Try out EB Games/Gamestop and ask if they have any ordered Guitar Hero 2 controller, but haven't collected it yet. You'll be surprised how long they keep it in storage! I did that for my Guitar Hero 1 copy when I was in Las Vegas last year...... dug one out from storage, slapped down 89.90USD and I walked away a happy customer!

Also, you'll never believe it, but Wal-Mart's crappy game counter MIGHT have 1 or 2 copies of the game with controller lying around! I was shocked to see them there!

Another place I heard they sell quite a few copies are in Guitar Center shops. Because of the tie-in with Guitar Hero 2, they do stock a few copies with the controller as well.

EB Games, Gamestop, Wal-Mart and Guitar Centers are all OVER the US man..... impossible NOT to find one.

Besides, in the US, they sell quite a number of third-party controllers, so you don't have to get the original one.
