QUOTE(early30 @ Aug 18 2024, 10:09 AM) Which phase is this? Might be substation issue? I have never experience sudden black out in phase 11, so far only once or twice scheduled shut down in a year during working day My area is Perennia and the blackouts are frequent. Latest was last night at 3 am and before that was last Thursday at 3 pm. Almost every 3-4 months these days. Each time the substation next to Scarlet requires maintenance. This substation obviously for Perennia and Periwinkle.

QUOTE(Dreamedge @ Aug 19 2024, 10:43 PM) “MPKL juga telah mencadangkan kepada IJM Rimbayu untuk membina Interchange menghubungi Bandar Rimbayu ke Lebuhraya SKVE.” What a joke, everybody can see we need a highway to exit except for the main developer here… keeping quiet…. Cadangan will take decades to materialize.

QUOTE(calvin_kenni @ Dec 11 2024, 10:00 PM) bro i'm interested to know why you sell it off? baru last year or 2 i saw you were so happy on your youtube channel Very likely due to poor road access out. Imagine needing more than a hour to get to KLCC or Damansara in the afternoon.

QUOTE(Stranger1986 @ Dec 12 2024, 08:12 AM) Hi, may I know you are referring to afternoon in the weekdays or weekend? Or everyday? Thanks Everyday. Weekends impossible to exit from Rimbayu to KK. Jam 30 mins at Rimbayu entrance traffic lights. Going to Quayside Mall from Rimbayu need 30 mins. MCO still the best. Merely 25-30 mins to Damansara. Fastest way to KL is by using MEX but expensive. Both ways already 14-16 bucks! Too many houses but only 1 exit to NKVE and 1 exit to Kesas but shared with KK. Imagine if all the houses were occupied, surely need more than an hour to exit from Rimbayu. The primary traffic lights is too long and too fast. Don't forget many lorries using the same road too. If in front of u has a lorry, the traffic lights will change after only 3-4 cars and after that wait another 10 minutes until your turn.

QUOTE(Stranger1986 @ Dec 12 2024, 10:20 AM) Thanks for sharing. I guess it is not really the best option for those who need to travel to KL daily. On the bright side, hope the upcoming flyover project in Mac 2025 will alleviate the problem a little bit. I am sure the traffic situation is troubling KK residents as well, wondering what is the ADUN or MP doing about it? I think I read somewhere before, but correct me if I am wrong, aren't improving traffic in the area part of their manifestos ? Besides, anybody happen to know if there is any official FB group for Rimbayu residents to share genuine concerns and information? Not the one spammed with advertisements. Where I am staying now, we have such FB group, and ADUN officers are in the group as well. So whenever we have concerns such as potholes, malfunction street lights, traffic congestions, we post it there, officers notified, and eventually the problems (most) are rectified. Some are fast, some takes a bit of time. We even got have new access road (albeit small one) early this year to divert the traffic going out of the Taman. Perhaps with such platform, we can channel all the complaints here more effectively to the responsible parties (ADUN and developer). ADUN sleeping mostly. Illegally businesses they allowed to operate. Legal ones they harassed. For example is the illegal taska in Perennia. They have been operating illegally without registration with JKM, license from MPKL and no Bomba certification for more than 5 years. Flyover in 2025, very doubtful. Easily at least 2030 at the rate everything's going. By then, the whole Rimbayu will be like Kota Damansara already.

Now the traffic is even worse ever since Lotus's opened last year. The primary Rimbayu roundabout always full of traffic. Previously, not much.
And the commercial areas near Lotus's also full of cars. Even on Sundays!
Kopitiams? Don't bother going on Sundays. Full house! Parking best to park near the mixed rice restaurant. Plenty. After that, walk to wherever u want to dine.
Overall, while convenient is no longer peaceful. Surely car thieves will targeting this area soon due to lack of police balai. So, be careful when going out.
After the snatch thief incident at Eco Sanctuary some years ago, there is hardly any police ronda anymore.

QUOTE(mits27 @ Mar 10 2025, 10:05 AM) Anyone has news on the overpass progress between Kota Kemuning with Rimbayu? Last news is Rimbayu submitted the application for the project on Aug 2024 and project should start Mar 2025. Wait 2030 or longer la. Developers will build and sell properties first. Access roads last on their planning or none at all. For now, enjoy the jams. This post has been edited by acbc: Mar 10 2025, 11:15 PM

Parennia blackout again last night for 3 hours. This year alone already 5 blackouts including last nights.
Very difficult to WFH or start a home lab here. Need to invest in expensive UPSs or solar panels.

QUOTE(Clueless07 @ Nov 5 2025, 12:03 PM) then have to be the taman substation la, else the whole taman will be black out. perhaps this one need to blame TNB and not IJM Can consider this.... but still whole house will be dark. Can also install emergency light ( something like downlight) https://www.dji.com/sg/power-1000Perrenia only good for renting? coz last time a lot of investor dont intent to stay there. only rent out eh i was at Chimes, same case also. so many units rented out. minimal reno, mind set for cleanliness and car park is less. But yearly blackout up to 5 times. A few years ago, same problem. Something blew up and TNB took about a week to restore power. They had to bring in 3 genset trucks for support.

QUOTE(Thrust @ Nov 7 2025, 09:43 PM) Water puddles is not flood but probably drainage got stuck with leaves. Stuck or not, it is always there after a heavy downpour for the past 2 years. At night, it is not noticeable.
