Need your opinion. Thinking of letting go my Chimes unit as I don't feel at home anymore in the area. We are the first to get the key and first to move in. Problem is with the leasehold title, I pity my grand children having to renew the lease in future.

There is a freehold landed house nearby in Kota Kemuning and I don't have to worry about the renewing of lease for my grandchildren. However, this are is not like the "hip" Bandar Rimbayu masterplan and it's quite old. But definitely not far our in enjoying BR, ES, 257 and TA facilities nearby.

What do you think?

it is F&G. Not that brand new. I think 7 years already. It's more central Kota Kemuning than Rimbayu.

For not feeling at home - more of many people in the neighbourhood which I won't elaborate. They know this.

Section 30 Jalan Kebun la to be exact. For own stay actually. That's why I pikir sampai cucu cicit it would be a hassle for them to renew the lease.

If the price and process to renew lease is easy 96 years down the road, I am OK la. It's just me - who always like to think forward.

This is the only concern I have for the leasehold title. Coz if you talk about Kota Damansara and Sunway, OK ja they appreciate.

I scared if cucu cicit later cannot afford to buy props. And must pay to renew lease pula when the time comes.

So how much do you think a 22x75 Chimes can go after 30 years?

Thanks guys but let me clarify again regarding the reason. Not becoz of resale value. More of the renewal of the lease. If freehold peace of mind.

And saying 99 years the house wont survive is a good point too. Maybe im just thinking too much haha.
