General rule of thumb in current bearish property market, buy for own stay. Investment.... forget it unless you got plenty of cash and looking to diversify with your other portfolios full already

I don't have a unit there but i went to view but decided elsewhere after i got stuck in bad jam in the rain on a working day leaving rimbayu.

Well, since the developers have more or less sold almost everything, i don't think they care too much about connections to highways. For sure Gamuda doesn't want traffic from elsewhere to come to Gamuda Cove...their buyers will freak out.

Hey owners of rimbayu, is the area built on swamp/mangrove land which is natures' way of absorbing water by the land? Will this affect the flood prone-ness of the area?

Yeah...thats why i bought in elmina instead of Rimbayu eventhough Rimbayu much more affordable. Went to view showhouse and when leaving back to PJ got caught in rush hour traffic from Rimbayu...straightaway cross off list

Its ok lah, by that time many already retired. No need to fight traffic during peak hours. Go and come at off peak hours even though the plan finally put into action laugh.gif

I think that the infrastructure of Puchong is much better than Rimbayu but cannot cater to the current traffic flow. Rimbayu's infrastructure already cannot cater to its much smaller population. If it is to grow like Puchong, the infra needs to be drastically upgraded.

At least the ADUN is doing his job highlighting this issue. But the fact that the ADUN has to escalate the issue means its really bad.

None of this helps traffic jam but will only make it much worse. Developers continue to build and build while the problem is suffocating the residents.
