I've been living in KL since 2002, so there's not much to really shock me. As I said, I know what I'm potentially in for. But it outweighs the problems I've faced in the last 16 years living in high rise property.

But I do wish for it too. Switched to Time last year and very happy with the speed and price.

As for rules, RA can set these once formed at AGM.

House rules originally would be set by developer and these are often standard, based on development type. It can later be amended/updated once developer hands over management to the RA.

But if you're asking can residents be barred from entering if they don't pay fees, that I think cannot be done. No right to bar resident from entering their house.

However, if it is a gazetted fee, e.g. maintenance fee, what can be done is to lodge a case against the resident under a housing act (don't remember specifics, my condo does it so I can update later).

Don't expect ROI anytime in the next few years. Personally I see the area within next 5yrs at least, before it can be profitable, if things keep going the way they are now without any further bumps like covid..

Yes agreed. I bought for own stay as I find the overall area very homey, like my hometown. Plus the area is spacious, conducive for various outdoor activities, and quiet. The area as it is now is already good enough for me, but definitely it'll grow further down the years.

Personally I prefer to have the boundaries. If I was so loaded, can just pay cleaning service to clean up the firecrackers, leaves and such, then maybe would consider those gateless ones. But if one was that loaded, better off with a mansion laugh.gif

Why park outside? Why not basement parking? Think it's first 1 or 2hrs RM2, most I've paid was RM3 after dinner and groceries there.

Unless you planned to go up via the travelators, then I don't think you're banned from taking your dog out via the basement entrance and exit driveways. But eh, maybe the entire building is off limits to pets, can't say for sure.

Thanks for the effort, but as usual with grievances, it probably will fall on deaf ears or be received by people with no power to do anything, unless it's received by the top dogs. I do hope your's and everyone else's grievances are noticed and they really are going to do something in the near future. Cross fingers. sweat.gif

Yes, what used to take over 30mins at the BSP roundabout in the evenings has reduced quite a bit. Combination of the widened road and the traffic light regulates the traffic flow better now. So yes it is improving. Where is it contrary to you?

"Main reason" isn't applicable to everyone. I for one chose here because the development reminds me of my hometown. Peaceful and quiet, and amenities are within minutes' drive away. I wouldn't want to live in the city again having spent 20 years in KL. Suburban life is much better now.
