I just think that Malaysians invite ourselves to be screwed by others. Look at the arrogance at which we deal with other countries. We think that the world needs Malaysia. Time to wake up... globalization is at our doorstep.

After we screw and criticize US policies for so many years, maybe this is their way of getting back at us. biggrin.gif

I was kidding about the last part. However unless you do live in a pond, governments have been known to have their paws in business dealings... more often that you think.

It'll be wise to keep an open ear and not be ignorant of your surroundings. If one day your comfort bubble happens to burst and you don't have contingency plans then it's too bad.

Anyways, let's close the issue and go back to topic.

If you have dealt with US people and US companies before (And I have), every single Terms and Conditions is placed there for a reason. Unlike Malaysia where we actually ignore the fine print, in the US fine print can actually get you in trouble. Blizzard is a US company based in the US, and we are paying for the services of a US game governed by US laws.

I do give you credit and concur that the ToS is there to protect themselves legally as well.

However, I believe that unless Malaysia is considered to be under Singapore's territorial boundaries, or if Blizzard intentionally chooses to close one eye, we will be okay.

Otherwise they can shut us down as they please and all the whining and crying in the world won't fix humpty dumpty ever again.

That's a fact, and the day we left clicked on "Agreed" we bind ourselves to it.

You are reading too much into this, methinks. Blizzard is an entertainment company not a political party.

Besides, who really takes what Malaysian politicians say seriously? We ourselves sure don't and we live here. Its common knowledge that most politicians are dumbasses who arent competent enough to work at a real job and have to "raise issues" to make it look like they actually do anything.
