i stay at miharja flat just opposite to viva home mall and i am a frequent visitor. i think the mall is doing quite good compare to 1shamelin or cheras sentral. There is MBO cinema but sometimes i opt to go BTS or Pavilion for movie. There are many eateries such as japanese, korean, kenny rogers roasters, subway, oldtown, kam lian kee, boston and so on. Mr DIY just opened a few months ago. I think the management good in organizing events like Popular book fair, wedding fair, sports apparel stock clearance and furniture fair. Another good thing is Vivatel tenants can shop there. Parking is not expensive. The mall is quiet during weekdays but is consider okay during weekends. I think most mall is like that except what some of you mentioned above like IOI City Mall which is quite far for me.

My office is very near to 1Shamelin Shopping Mall. I was just having my lunch at old town white coffee. Wong Kok Char Chan Teng was fullhouse just now. TLC was closed. Most ppl come here for badminton. There is a TGV cinema here but i never watch any movie here. Good thing here parking is free. 

If mall doing well....parking wont be free...haha

I used to frequent Cheras Sentral, maybe once a month for a movie or Jaya Grocer. Ever since Jaya Grocer closed, never been there again.

May mean the mall management could no longer bare losses and resorted to kill the goose.

The first time I went to 1Shamelin, the occupancy rate has already very low. Now only small shop like vape, vietnam pedicure or name card shop open. The latest business "mushroom-ing" in area here is the "monkey king" business...

If this place change to Low Yat Plaza then it is good (for me). 

Went there around 3pm yesterday...indeed very less crowd.
Most people were at Old Town kopitiam. Just a few customers in the other restaurants.

I'd rather go to the real area of old town in Ipoh.

sure or not? ioi city mall is real 1 malaysia mall for many races.
it has variety and selling pork to korean, japanese and angmo pork lover.
many tourist, expat love to go ioi city mall there coz it offer variety.
