Do small walkie-talkie need license?

As the topic above, I need the correct answer. I can't confirm as some say yes, some say no. Some honest seller say yes, some seller say no.
Any expert out there know the actual answer?
Small walkie-talkie, those 0.5-3 watt. Not those bulky bulky like police officer, security guard house 1...

just to share... i did join some programs and activities that requires walkie talkie... haven't seen they bringing any license along... using the small one...which you could bought from many shops like Carrefour,Giant,Teso & etc...not a famous brand big one like motorola...liked you said police one...haven't tried... don't know if this answer you some...

But, he didn't bring out the license at all 1 ar. But I am sure they could have the license of certificate or identity card to prove that they have the license. simple lah why dont you go sit for MARES exam n use it all the time you can even fix radio in your car legally....google for mares..

I don't think need license also..Imagine a parent buy walkie talkie for the child 2use..say in the house, don't tell me need license..btw, i didn't see any license for walkie talkie also..no offence yea
