When's the best time to be lifting weights at the gym? I want to lift in the morning, but I was thinking whether it's better to lift at 7 a.m or around 9.30 a.m. Or would evening be better?
Any advice please?
There is no best time. The best time is when you feel the best. Dwayne Johnson woke up at 4am and hit the gym, while morning gym for me sux, I don't have the drive, energy and stamina to lift so I prefer night when the gym is not packed, would be around 9pm. My best preferred time is 7pm, just about sun set so I can have a full dinner as post workout because I hate to cook at 11pm, unfortunately 7pm is the peak hour for gym. So you can judge by a few factors such as
- energy level
- crowd in gym
- your eating habbit
- your lifestyle

During my uni days; I usually wake up at 9am/10am, drink shake then head to gym lel
Now working liao, always after dinner time. 7pm/8pm
Even when I'm not working, I would choose either morning or night.
I dislike working out in the afternoon. The hot weather wears me out in my aircond-less gym. The
sun also shines directly into the gym. Hot af.
Same, I'm vampire, I hate lights

I'm not sure but it is better to work-out when empty stomach. Maybe take some whey before you hit the gym. But after meal then hit the gym is totally no no to me.
You can hit the gym 1.5 to 2 hours after a big meal. To me it feels the best. Right after meal is a big no, you will puke.
