Card Reader for Macbook?, how to read SD card in OSX?

i want to transfer photos from a SD card into the Macbook. i plugged in a Apacer 8-in-1 card reader into the macbook, the blue LED on the card reader lit up and went off. i slot in the SD card nothing happens
what i want to ask: - do i need drivers for the apacer card reader? - do i need special card reader hardware for OSX? |

as far as i know , anything that you plug into a MAC should work. No aditional drivers is needed.

go find & buy a cheaper (RM10-RM20) card reader... got problem also with this apacer one coz cannot write.. read no problem. cannot replace coz the shop when test using peecee, it's okay... maybe the card reader not so compatible with MacOS X. |
