AC Origins is undeniably the best one so far in terms of the improvement of what they've made from previous iteration but Unity has the best rendition of a European city in Paris with the most interesting time period from the country. As Ubisoft is a Francophone company it is best played using French audio to get the best immersion. The baked lighting gives the indoor some picturesque scenes too but the story is short and not that good.

I don't like Syndicate tbh as the missions are all repetitive and the game as a whole feels like a filler. Victorian London is better represented in The Order 1886 albeit it's a linear game.

Also if you still don't play Black Flag get that one too for its pirate setting. With Rogue coming to PS4 I'm not sure which naval based AC is preferable but it depends on whether you like Edward or Shay better and which of their growth as a character you prefer.

after messing around with rookie difficulty might be good a good idea to start on veteran too with some of the squaddies that you are attached in the character pool

I'm just playing full valkyrie waifu mode lol so spent most of the time playing dress up haha

If you like the writing in both Mafia 1 and 2 maybe you want to check out Kingdom Come: Deliverance that is on sale right now as it's written by the same guy. As it's a first person RPG akin to Skyrim you can find storylines both minute and grand here though admittedly playing on consoles is not the most optimal way for it due to long initial loading time (unless you have SSD) and texture pop-ins. Most game-breaking bugs are fixed now so those early concerns in the reviews have been rectified. It really is immersive and the dialogues are endearing at times.

Another month of being shafted why am I not being surprised anymore.

Got both of the games before already but I must say I prefer Steep due to not having Skate or SSX this gen so combination of those games is good enough for me. Bought that during the Winter Olympics earlier this year so that might cause a bit bias in me.

Yeah so does ZOE innit? Wish that will be offered in the near future too as even on Steam it's not discounted deep enough yet.

What do you mean by saying the least important part of an action game is outdated now? The gung ho nature of it is not relevant anymore after Spec Ops The Line came out? Anyway it pretty much popularised modern age shooters to the console audience.

Any promo for subscription? Really missing the cloud saves feature now too. Some games that I want to continue to play again after a year or so but forgot to download from the cloud so now have to start again.

The (((free))) games look enticing too.

There was an error where I can't go to the login screen at all unless the console is reinitialised. Game data and screenshots are still intact. Lost the save files internally but thankfully all backed up on the cloud. Downloaded the save files for games that I want to play for the time being.

Maybe I've done something wrong in troubleshooting that cause the loss of all the save files. Wasn't bothered much tbh.

FF9/FFIX only worth playing on PC due to mods that enhance the blurry background.

That's why I'm not excited at all with the announcement of the remastered VIII too as the mods on PC has enhanced it better than the official version.

Edit: sorry for that meme reply but for me Detroit is more palatable in terms of gameplay, story and emotion that he wants to elicit compared to his previous movie games.

for me I have to distance myself from all the hype and anticipation as I want to be as virgin as possible and I mostly buy single player anyway

special occasion only for sure-fire buy and that's only 2 or 3 games a year and mostly multiplayer focused that certainly have long lasting active community

tried the MediEvil remake demo now that's a proper game if I see one no ludonarrative dissonance where you kill thousands of baddies yet still a charming protagonist with wife and kid
