Sony Asia decided to throw money at the developers of those games for it to be on PS+. That's why we are getting games like GOW3 & Until Dawn.

Maybe they have finally listened to the tons of complaints about the substandard games we in Asia are getting compared to the other regions. 

Guys I need a little help here

till Now I've been a user of PS+ US region, now US PS+ is way more expensive so thinking of switching to R3 region next month (as my R1 will end next month)

So the thing makes me confuse is

1. will I be able to play online using my old R1 account? both R1 & R3 accounts are my primary accounts on PS4.

2. what doest this "Time period" for PS+ games on R3 means? like we can claim in between that time & once we claim it, it'll be in our library as long as we have PS+? just like R1? or its like Xbox Live gold games which expires after a time period?

PSA: By owning Hitman Season One, you can upgrade all the levels into Hitman 2’s engine for a major visual and slight gameplay upgrade, but the process is somewhat obscure.

⁠Redeem the season on PS+.
⁠Download the main “Hitman” app that it comes with, the level files shouldn’t be needed.
⁠Launch the game.
⁠When prompted, redeem the “Legacy Pack” on the main menu.
⁠Download “Hitman 2 Prologue” for free on the Playstation Store, along with all the “Legacy Pack” files.
And that’s it, feel free to delete the original “Hitman” app.

Edit: The Prologue is currently under the name of “Hitman 2 - Snow Festival” due to a promotion where it comes with one of the Season One levels, but because of the upcoming Plus deal, that doesn’t matter much. It’s still the same Prologue

I downloaded and launched Hitman. Nothing popped up to redeem legacy pack. What did i do wrong?

Mine is already online. Unless you mean need to sign up their IOI id?

Am I do right decision using my US account for PS Plus from now on? Currenty using MY account and left few days before expired previously last 3 years all my free games collection 🤔.

but i don't think can migrate your PS plus account and will not consider too.

  during the early days free games might be different from different region, especially malaysia, after that all seems to be standardize

depends how early you start your PS plus, mine is all the way back PS3 era, 2009. So i'm not gonna give up... i still need to renew it although just expired recently
