There's 2 different promo for PS plus this lunar year. If prefer 25% discount, purchase via PSN online. If prefer 12+4 months, then go purchase the physical PSN plus card from 7-11 or 99 speedmart.

Definitely using the same subscription. The reason why PS5 is compatible for PS4 games is because Sony want to encourage the users to switch over to PS5 smoothly and seemlessly. So no way they would ditch the current PSN and start a new one. It would be a suicide move for PS5 sales.

Normally it's difficult for us (the oversea countries) to buy the first batch. Firstly, the price will be very high due to limited stocks. Secondly, not enough new games to convince you to buy. I would stick to the PS4 first since a lot of back log of game plays. Wait until 2021 or 2022, by that time the cost should have reduced, and a lot of PS5 games should have released. Not to mention the new gen console bugs would have been ironed out by that time. However, one new problem will arise. "Should I buy PS5 or PS5 pro?" Lol.

The sales is only start today. Some stores may need time to restock the cards. Wait until next couple of days and check again.

Also，I believe they won't state any lunar sales on the card itself. You need to buy the 12 months card, and key in the code into your PSN account, the 12+4 promo deal will appear automically when you check out. I know this because I have some Taiwan friends who already starting have their PS plus lunar sales since last week in their region.

Or install playstation app, claim from your smartphone. This method is the easiest one to do.

Hey guys. Does anyone have problem to claim the free game Overcook? I tried to add it into my library but it's not available. Hitman 2 and Predator are fine though. Only Overcook is not available.

Checked the reddit just now. It seems that some other users also experienced the same thing. PS5 console, PSN website and PSN App. At this moment none of them can add that game into the library. Oh well. I guess it's some kind of glitch. Let's wait and see if they fix it in next couple of days..

Guys, it's already fixed just now. You can claim the Overcooked now via console/web/app.

No worry guys. Based on previous records, PSN should have CNY sales within 1 week before CNY date. The only question is WHEN. And after receiving the latest email from PSN yesterday, the date is mostly confirmed.

The lunar new year promotion date is started from 26/2. Although they don't mention the word "Lunar year" at the heading, they do mention it at the top page.

And scroll down to the end of the promotion page. See the wording? "Keep your eyes on PlayStation Store to find out about PlayStation Store discounts and sales soon!"

So this means the CNY sales will be starting on that date, including the PSN membership discount as well. (Most likely it's 1 year + 3 months offer or 30% discount for 1 year)

So whoever plan to buy games eagerly, hold your horse first. More selection should be coming up very soon next week.

As I expected, the Lunar year 2022 sales is up! Of course the banner is not yet posted. But you can start to search for your wishlist and see if there's any discount this time. For me, there's a lot of games I have been waiting for sales and you know what? Most of them got discounts in this CNY sales. The long wait is worth it. Huat ah!

What console you are using right now? If PS5, you should be able to see it. If ps4, then you won't since this game is for ps5. You can collect it from playstation app or website (need to log in using your account).
