How many colours is the sorento? Kia Malaysia website does not tell much. Black, silver, white, bronze? Bronze available on ls as well?
*
Depending on the variant. The Imperial Bronze is exclusive for the Sorento 2.2 Diesel HS only. Other variant only got Black, Silver and White, subject to stock availability. Diesel LS stock only left Black color.

Those are warning lights when seat belts are not fastened on each seat. There are 6 warning lights just above the climate control switch.

Single light (bigger than the others): Front Passenger Seat
Three in a row : Second row seats
Two in a row : Third row seats.

The seat belt warning light for Driver is on the Instrument Cluster

There is also an indicator on the right side, where you can turn ON/OFF the passenger airbag, in event when there is a child seat at the front.

My Pearl White Sorento 2.4 MS will be registered by tomorrow as i just cleared my choice of number at JPJ just now....

The specs says it is solar & acoustic glass wind shield, front solar glass and rear tinted glass . What does it mean ? Do i need to put another layer of tinted to have a cool effect to the SUV ? or additional dark tinted for cosmetic purposes only ?

Anybody can help ?

For solar glass, there is a certain degree of heat rejection property embedded into the glass but may not be enough due to our extreme hot weather.
Tinted glass , according to the manufacturer's defination simply means the glass come with a slight coloring and not 100% clear. This function mainly for aesthetics reason.

Do beware of JPJ ruling on VLT (Visible Light Transmission) when fixing additional tinting. Front windscreen 70%, Side windows (first row ) 50%, Other wide windows and rear windshield 30%.

Sorry, don't have the figures regarding the size of the low/high beams of the Sorento head lamps. Do not recommend you to change the HID after market because firstly, it is illegal because it has not been tested by JPJ and you may be fined during road blocks. Secondly, it may void your head lamp warranty.

VLT refers to Visible Light Transmission. It means how much light can penetrate the windows. Usually, VLT is NOT a measurement of quality of the tint because it is about the brightness , hence there is no BEST VLT. In fact, some prefer darker shades tinting for the sporty/glamour look, but one should always follow the JPJ ruling as suggested in my earlier post, and not go overboard.

For tinting, the parameter that is most important is the IRR % (Infra red Rejection) and TSER % (Total Solar Energy Rejected) and BTU (Basic Thermal Unit) which determines the amount of heat that enters the cabin thru the windows.

The other is of course the thickness (2,4,6,8 mil)which is a security feature that is shatter resistance, thus prevents of theft of items inside the car, and in the case of window breakage, minimizes the risk of injury to the occupant from the shattered pieces of broken glasses.
