a simple google search reveals 780 ti is better thn 970...but definitely not 780...

Im not good in gpu things. Everyone says 970 is better than 780. I swap my 780 and get a 970. But disappointing after the benchmark results. So u guys pro here, can tell me the reason why 970 benchmark score is lower than 780.

Damn this is so tempting...i almost bought the new 970 last 2 weeks..luckily i saw some people posting about pascals..could anyone cnfirm the release date,?

by tht logic...if 780 is clearly better thn 970...why would ppl bought 970?? why not just buy 780??

i have tried in csgo, with 780 on 1080p, i get like 280-380fps, 2k at 220-260fps. On 970 1080p i get like 220-250, on 2k i get like 180-220fps. Other games i have not tested as i've sold that 780 and no chance to test on other games. only the valley benchmark and the csgo game.

majority of results showed tht 970 clearly better thn 780...there's a possibility u gotten urself a less thn stellar 970...

every site says 970 is better but for me, special case, i still get the 780 better. Not sure is it gainward good or other 780 not good.

I didnt record on 970 as i see the fps is lower than my 780

so..u got urself a little special 970....but that still doesnt mean 780 is better thn 970...it is better..only for your case..

Most gaming benchmark , GTX 970 > GTX 780 not GTX 780Ti

People prefer gtx 970 due to lower power consumption & better overclocking room.
I can give you an example why gtx 970 > gtx 780
There's a lot of debate about both cards,and still gtx 970 more superior.

so basically if you want a card which is better at benchmarks = 780
if you want a card which is better at gaming = 970

benchmark fun i guess lel.

i using 780ti.....so far so good gaming no problem...haha..plus i play Full HD only..so currently wont upgrade any card la..

gtx780 are better on compute performance，but suck on gaming compare to gtx970，and it also abandon by nvidia, 970/980 keep getting perf boost on new patch bt wont on 780/780ti, this will also happen on 970/980 after 1070/1080 released

newer games actually have additional features that older gpu don't supports and therefore may score higher on benchmark program test but lower fps on latest games.

Older gpu may have better computing power (depends on model example 780 n 780ti)

But overall u need to consider the monitor used, cpu
and games played. Their benchmark were not tested consistently on those videos and so it should be used as a rough guide.
