QUOTE(kenji1903 @ Oct 8 2016, 06:38 PM) my turn to rant after my first family trip with... my boy's first time on the airplane... Haha.. i always heard from my friends with kids advise me not to bring young kids to overseas. They say we wont get to enjoy the trip.1 word to describe it... disaster there are fun times but most of the time its horrible Tats why i will wait patiently till my kids grow 1st then will bring them to overseas. But probably by then it will be very crowded and the airplane tickets, hotel, expenses will be very expensive due to kids school holiday. No choice.. |

They say we wont get to enjoy the trip. might be a good idea... my boy really enjoyed the trip, not so for my wife and i...Tats why i will wait patiently till my kids grow 1st then will bring them to overseas. But probably by then it will be very crowded and the airplane tickets, hotel, expenses will be very expensive due to kids school holiday. No choice.. we went for 8 nights and did take away dinner for 7 evenings... the only 1 evening we dined out, he went back pissed and didn't want to take off his shoes or jacket cos he still wanted to go out |

QUOTE(kenji1903 @ Oct 24 2016, 03:59 PM) I always bring them out when i go back. Now they see me, they would always want me to hug them coz they know i will mostly bring them out. There was one time i told my wife that we will go Aeon later after i bring the car for servicing. When i was back, she said lets go to Aeon. I ask where were the kids coz i didnt saw them around. She said she let them go to sleep coz they were abit sleepy. Then my wife notice i dont have the mood to go and complain, "Cant we just go dating together?" I explained "Like that also wana be jealous? i only get to see my kids once a month, for sure i wish to go together as a family." In the end, I drag the time until both kids woke up and we went to Aeon after that, lol.. This post has been edited by lil_flank: Oct 24 2016, 08:18 PM |

QUOTE(kenji1903 @ Oct 24 2016, 05:03 PM) talking about books... nowadays my boy demands for ipad/iphone during meal times... books also seldom read... It will be an habit. My daughter always open youtube and watch those useless videos. I tell my wife to put those learning apps and hide the youtube app. Initially my daughter was happy to be able to snatch the ipad from my wife. But after found out that the youtube was gone, she kept begging and crying while saying, "Youtup, Youtup!" After we saw that, we knew we must break the habit now or else it will be harder to break when she gets older.and even if he sits down on my lap with a book, he prefers just flipping the pages only |
