i have try kodi well is a very comprehensive iptv app is like those high end system such as CMS or MIS.
Well, is so good that i feel it is too heavy for common user. I perfer iptv app such as iptv extreme , ott navigator or simple m3u playlist player such as
TIVImate, televizo or even iptv smarter pro.

There is one iptv not many people user is yala receiver with HDTV.

I found a solution and it works for my Android 10 TV

i load this in MPC-BE playlist and all channels show invalid. any idea why?

Likely need to use VLC, since MPC doesn't really support playlist in playlist.

anyone has the updated m3u/m3u8 playlist for basic local rtm tv1/tv2/tv3/8tv channels? where do you get the latest playlist for local tv?

RTM should work if you are in Malaysia with the old URLs here: https://yamcode.com/raw/rtmdowh-57. Media Prima is harder, as before this they would use an autogenerated playlist from the Dailymotion Live Stream that Media Prima uses. but Dailymotion fixed this loophole, and it's not useable anymore.

If you have a spare PC at home, you actually can use a DVB-T2 dongle to receive OTA MyFreeView signal and convert them into a webstream


I am using this at home with Windows + NextPVR. Image is better as it's directly from broadcast, and faster too.





You can then use the generated URL in your own playlist to use in KODI

Hi guys, long time no use kodi

Just now i have updated to kodi 19.4 Matrix.
I want to watch Singapore channel & playback.
Tried google on the addon, after adding the web address, cannot retrieve the link.
Can anyone recommend me a workable guide?

i do have a compile m3u for Singapore free to air tv but it dont work outside Singapore.

Kodi is a very powerful media for stream, it practically covered all protocol of streaming and accessing of media.

Given that if do only want iptv, I think is best to look for a more simple application, which is not so complex as KOdi

One such application for Windows would be Stalker Portal Player which is good to setup STB EMU stalker portal playlist.

Ive yet to find any kodi addon or IPTv Simple client -ish that could play .mpd (MPEG-DASH) which most IPTVs are using

I use TIVImate and OTT apps too, but you do realize that this is kodi thread right?

he is very hardcore in promoting iptvextreme and ottnavigator. claim to offer help with IPTV, but need to be thru whatsapp, and would get mad if you dont give him your phone number. so be cautious.
