Yes, as long as the 4K prerequisites are met. Additionally, you must enabled HDR and/or DolbyVision profiles in addon settings. Depending on your setup, there may be some tinkering required to get HDR to work. This depends on your TV, if you are using an AV-Receiver, which device Kodi is running on, etc. Please make sure to search the issues and available forum threads for a solution before opening an issue!
Does it support 5.1 audio?
Yes, enable the option Enable Dolby Digital Plus in addon settings (is enabled by default).
Is Dolby Atmos supported?
Yes. It's enabled by default, when option Enable Dolby Digital Plus is enabled. But only some videos have Atmos, they can be distinguished from the skin media-flag "Dolby-HD". Note: Need a premium netflix account. |

i hv not been following kodi dev much... no idea how people are using it now given all that pressure and threats from the authorities.
me, i only use it for 2 things and it's been good:
1. Quasar - this is just about the best thing i get with kodi - works great, good video and audio, reliable, stays alive when all others die.
2. Local playback player - boxes without native players, kodi player is excellent - even with cheap boxes, u can get DD, DD+ which are acceptable.

Closely followed by premium IPTV. Rest can be gotten off Netflix, iFlix, AOTG, YouTube, Vimeo, etc.. between it all.. more than enough content to watch during spare time. The authorities will keep hunting down and trying to shutdown as many services as possible. Unfortunately, that won't change anytime soon. I still feel, like Netflix.. eventually live TV will become legit cheap to stream. |

I have xiaomi mibox and all my apps are outdated i dont know what to do.. who can help me out to install. Any apps recommend for free tvb or chinese satelite dramas . I want to setup for my parents.

I am not surprised that AstroGo also discriminate devices on their servers. For netflix they are likely discriminating boxes based on the ESN number, and that number seems to be burn into the firmware which can't be easily faked.
