The program says graduate trainee program not Radio Engineer. so not necessary that you must know about GSM. Unless you are a E&E engineer and looking to join Maxis as a radio engineer, then GSM knowledge wud b handy.

I figure for anyone involves in telco, it wud b nice to know what is eTOM. You can find out more about eTOM in wikipedia. and the TeleManagement official site.

Its a long shot for someone who dunno know the industry to undstd eTOM juz for interview but read the wiki and get an idea what it is about.

It'll also help (as in all graduate trainee/management trainee) program for you to show a little leadership and inniative during interview.

Enjoy the Programme..

It is really beneficial... i was a product of that programme...

But however maxis doesnt seem to appreciate people in technical backgrounds now...

So if ur in finance.. business.. corporate... a really good place.. and culture..

hahaa.. this is the greatest piece of shit advice you give out here..
how can you be so stereotypical of a company like maxis?
do you think everything in there is radio and switches?!

If i am not mistaken, they have renamed MGTP to MMTP right? Does it mean that they want more from non-technical background?

Oh don't forget they'll also touch on corporate questions such as who is who in their departments.
Be sure to read up the names of their management team.

As it was mentioned above, Maxis is not interested in higly technical background candidates. They prefer those who can suggest big ideas on how to make large profits for the company.

So if you're good at talking, coming out with ideas on how to mislead or sell their products well then this company is a good place to start your career.
The last thing you want to be in this company is to be a straight forward and honest. You'll be killed by the management and all the politics in there before you can settle in the company.

find out more about the company is the basic part, trying to impress the people that you are really interested in their company. and probably show that you are more different with experience or maybe the way how you handle certain things...they most probably will ask something related to the job...be yourself and not too stress during interview thumbup.gif good luck

different companies have different ways ma(from my personal experience)...ya it's true that the skill u mentioned is very fundamental, however no everyone possess that(or else everyone would be hired brows.gif )

for many people they are always scared of interview, tried not to be scared and be yourself then it would be far more better. smile.gif there is no one standard way of interviewing, it depends on that interviewer as well, so the best way is be prepared for the job you applied for and show that you are extra more than other candidate smile.gif
