As it was mentioned above, Maxis is not interested in higly technical background candidates. They prefer those who can suggest big ideas on how to make large profits for the company.
So if you're good at talking, coming out with ideas on how to mislead or sell their products well then this company is a good place to start your career.
The last thing you want to be in this company is to be a straight forward and honest. You'll be killed by the management and all the politics in there before you can settle in the company.
