QUOTE(nikki-san @ Apr 26 2016, 06:17 PM)
can anyone advise me on the following:

1. must each downlight be connected to a driver ?

2. if either downlight or driver rosak, can i replace using any other different brands  of downlight/driver?

3. how does a dimmable downlight works? what are the additional installation required?

4. there is one lighting shop in puchong selling downlights which we can change from yellow light to white light & vice versa using remote control. can also control the brightness/dimmable.
has anyone used this type of downlights before? any comments?

thks a lot

1. Yes, every LED downlight comes with its own driver. These driver usually quite poor quality and won't last as long as the LED itself.

2. Yes you can but make sure wattage is the same.
3. There are many different ways. One is a 240v where you install before the driver. Another type is DC where you install after the driver. Another type is the driver itself got dimming function plus remote.
4. Usually got 3 colour temperatures to select - 3000k, 4000k, 6500k. I would recommend this type of LED as you can choose what colour you want. Just make sure other lights like your LED strip lights got this function too.
