Newer laptops no longer work with this trick. You won't be able to find a jumper and removing the battery does nothing.

I wish someone here can tell me if they find another way too. I used to work in a company last time where they set the BIOS password to laptops. Since we couldn't figure out what was set for some of the laptops, we had to throw them away.

Literally took apart the whole laptop and disconnected whatever that was not soldered on, no go. Lenovo laptops btw.
