Hey there,

Please help me. Everytime i test for my connection, it fails at the wireless network test. And i dont know what to do next. If anyone knows how to fix this problem, i'd be glad cause i've been trying to fix this thing for days with no luck.

Thanks in advance.

normal settings for your router... if you're not getting an IP check your DHCP settings.. isit locked with a access key? try disabling it.. try disconnecting all devices and just access using the 360 only.. maybe ip conflict..

Brand = TP-link

Model = WR542G

By the way, my router is in the 1st floor and my 360 is in my room ( G-floor ). This i believe is not the problem, cause the 360 senses the signal.

^ ur router, u check if DHCP is enabled.. if still the same issue.. u manually assign the IP n gateway on ur X360,
If you do so the the settings ought to be as below
Ur gateway should be 192.168.1.1 (ur router)
ur ip add should be 192.168.1.x (x depends on what range does ur router assign as DHCP IP addresses.)

Did that. But still it doesnt work. Could it probably be that my router is not xbox-live compatible??? My psp works well with my router's setting.

either try manually assign an ip to ur xbox, or use ur xbox mac addr n set an ip to it at ur router.
n also put these into ur xbox dns servers: 202.188.0.133 202.188.1.5 last time i didnt put dns, i cant connect.

Errr.. what mode does the wireless adapter support again? A, B, and G? Or? I don't know cause I don't have one.

Worse case scenario first, try setting your router to operate in B mode first and see if anything happens. I'm guessing the reason the Link light isn't on is because, well you don't have a connection to the router mar.

I tried using my psp to connect to the router, and everything works great. Iam connected to the internet. But not with the Xbox 360, yes, iam using g mode. I'll try to change to b and see if anything happens.
