Hi Guys,

Im new to credit card.
I already use RM400 on my aeon card.

Today when i login into aeon credit website,
I already see my transaction.

But when i click on e-statements, still no statements.

Should pay now or wait for the statements first?

Statement date is fixed for Aeon card, so your statement will be issued on next month 10th June

You can pay your bill before due date (2nd July I think)

Hi Guys,

I just received my statement for May on 17 June.
My amount due is RM450, with minimum amount of RM50.

my question is:
1) if i only pay the minimum amount before 2 July, will it affect my CCRIS credit score? or my score for that month will appear '0' (good record).

2) what are the benefits if i pay all the amount due?

3) Which method do you pay your outstanding? maybank2u / cimbclicks or at aeon vending machine?

Thanks.

1) CCRIS should be zero but don't even start paying minimum.

2) Benefits? You spend how much, then you should pay back how much. Why wanna pay minimum for them to earn you interest? In the end, you gain nothing.

3) I use M2U to Citibank and use AEON card as account no. RM 0.11 only.

The benefit is you don't have to pay interest. If you use a card which gives you cash back, has no annual fee, and you pay what you owe in full, then essentially the bank is paying you to use their card instead of you paying them. This may sound harsh, but if you're actually planning not to pay the statement balance in full every month, then maybe you shouldn't be using a credit card in the first place. It's a very bad idea. A little spending here and there, and one day you'll wake up to 4–5 digits credit card debt.
