This aeon card classic cannot transact payment directly thru its website eh? Like Maybank2u can choose payee, and select whether to have the payment deducted fron cash available/debit card/credit card.

Name is 'AEON Credit Service', not AEON Bank.

Compare to Maybank, Public Bank, CIMB/UOB/HLB (all got B behind).

Now it make sense why payments are paid thru CitiBANK!

Part of their sop....maybe?

It needs serious revisiting. To me, clients can opt whether to receive heads-up or not. Or have the reminder be sent thru SMS. Anyway, for overdue accounts, this I am okay. It's just the heads up calls that I find to be an annoyance.

Not many of us deal thru phone calls anymore, and we (or at least me) usually associate phone calls for emergencies like relatives admitted to hosp. Not to mention that most of us put our phones to silent.

Is damn annoying when they call, you pick it up, and they spent the next minute trying to pronounce your full name, like tak prepare liddat.

I personally dislike it. Well, I did mention about this earlier, how annoying they are. I guess it is up to everyone's preference, I certainly don't like people chasing after reminding me for payments. Some appreciate such personalized reminder, definitely not me.
*
Yup, agreed! And what personalize when they fumble so bad when they pronounce my name. Find it insulting. Like, cannot try to get the name right BEFORE calling ka? Like " errrr hello. Is this errr, err, encik errrrr, Sum thing wong (giggle giggle)?"

Aeon big member card cannot collect points starting 17th March.

So, there is no points awarded for AEON BIG credit card spending anymore?

I recently made a purchase of 2k using my CC. And got a message asking whether to convert it to Flexi Payment plan. The interest rate offered is 2.5% upfront.

So... the interest 2.5% is per annum, right?

u already said it is upfront fees for whole tenure.
*
*sweat* lol silly silly me! Anyways, how is converting this to flexi be better? I mean, even if the next billing is based on the full amount or risk kena finance/interest fee... the amount is the same as taking the flexi and straight kena 2.5%?
