There is a post card comes with the new cc. It ask me to use the post card and cc to get a free member card from member counter, without it, they'll charge RM5 for the new card.
What is the point if my new Aeon cc also featured as member card already?

I suspect they want to separate the member card details from the magnetic strip? hmm.gif

New AEON credit cards can't swipe magnetic strip transactions because it only contains the AEON member card details but not credit card's. Is this understanding correct?

it keep showing this after i choose pay with credit card then submit:

500 - Internal server error.

I asked the guy that issued the member card.
He said both CC and member card link under the same I/C number, so use either one at one time.
The difference is if you use CC on normal day, you get 2X points when spend at Aeon.
If you use the member card on normal day, you only get 1X point when spend at Aeon.
The member card is only free for 1st year, renewal fee is applicable.

Can anyone confirm this?

ps: They are giving limited edition Raya themed member card.

I believe the "2X points using CC on normal day" should mean 1X for Aeon Member (swipe magnetic strip on CC) and 1x for each RM1 spend using the New Aeon CC.

yalor, i also can't... so it's not safe to use aeon cc to pay for everything and then to use cimb cr or uob vox to pay for a 3% cb lol...
