Surfmore plans and supplementary seems to be left out of the free upgrade wo.
If they really sincere, they should auto upgrade everyone's plan not just those few. |

The new plan more towards to family man which could be a saving. But still not very economical for an individual.
They plan is .....Is Better to lose One Tree than the Whole Forest. This post has been edited by Mighty Duck: Apr 23 2016, 06:03 AM |

QUOTE(Mamapapamsia @ Apr 22 2016, 09:45 PM) So meaning if take MOP 98 + supp line RM48 Yes is a clever plan but also a risky too. Price look slight cheaper but compare to $$ to data value...is still consider expensive... Total RM146 for 10gb data . Meaning each line is RM 73 only? The supp line i can get my friend to take up also right? So meaning to say MOP 98 + 1 supp = RM73 per line MOP 128 + 2supp = RM74 per line MOP 158 + 3supp = RM75 per line MOP 188 + 4 supp = RM 76 per line I think this is genius from Maxis! Digi RM 80 x 1 = RM 80 / 10 GB vs MOS 98 / 5GB Digi RM 80 x 2 = RM 160/ 20 GB vs MOS128 128+48 =176 / 15 GB Digi RM 80 x 3 = RM 240 / 30 GB vs MOS 158+48+48 = 254 / 25 GB But now the difference of price packages compared to others are smaller now (compare previously) and Maxshit is bagging on their network quality & this is their only advantage....which i think most people here agreed. Good move maxis, though their price is still more expensive but seriously guys I think you need to know how to weigh the pro and cons properly. No point paying cheap but get lousy service coverage and quality. My company force everyone on a celcom corporate line and the amount of complaints I hear from the colleague due to the line stability is horrible. Even the 4G is unstable. I am happy with the extra data i got from Maxis now because their 4G is so much faster and stable as compare to the Unifi Shit i am using at home sometimes.

Yes, those expecting maxis to be cheap should start looking elsewherehttp://www.lowyat.net/2016/101817/one-year...-space-in-2016/ |

hi,
lets say my wife is using maxis oneplan 128 (business plan and currenly under contract) which gives 10GB monthly data. my line currently with celcom (normal blue first plan), can i move my number from celcom to my wife business one plan as share line number (5GB for RM48) per month? Do i tie to contract if i make move as share line on my wife business plan? If i want to move to other telco (after i'm with my wife business plan as share line), my same number still can be move to other telco (without change new number). does sub line gets spotify premium too? |

Maxis more stable compare to other crappy telcos. Thats why i said one can shop in jaya grocers or speedmart88/giant depending on your affordability. However, the goods you buy makes a buge differenceThis post has been edited by Shinyrayn: Apr 23 2016, 11:07 AM |

I hope Maxis will seriously consider to make an upgrade for iValue and Surfmore users. Kinda happy seeing that Maxis took their action to improve their service but it's still unfair for those iValue and Surfmore users.

QUOTE(stevensys @ Apr 23 2016, 11:03 AM) hi, Get it clear, supp line means it's owned by the principal. So whatever principal is, it is still is.lets say my wife is using maxis oneplan 128 (business plan and currenly under contract) which gives 10GB monthly data. my line currently with celcom (normal blue first plan), can i move my number from celcom to my wife business one plan as share line number (5GB for RM48) per month? U can move n be supp for ur wife, ur wife contract is still the contract. Contract is on principal, not supp. Supp no Spotify, only principal has U can use the ID register with the principal to sign in on supp, but 1 only can play at a time N supp no 15gb for streaming |

QUOTE(Mighty Duck @ Apr 23 2016, 06:08 AM) Celcom line is sucky and slow. Umobile is faster than celcomQUOTE(Mighty Duck @ Apr 23 2016, 06:21 AM) Yes is a clever plan but also a risky too. Price look slight cheaper but compare to $$ to data value...is still consider expensive... Maxis nvr go for price war with their competitiors. This is because they know that they hv the best coverage and speed. Digi is damn slow la. Some people are ok with slow speed. So then u may take Digi. Some people want fast, then its definately Maxis. Its like Mercedes. U dont see Mercedes lowering their price to compete with Honda or Toyota. Cuz they know they hv a good product. No point compete on price cuz the if compete on price then it will nvr end. U want to lower the price until how low? RM5 for 5 GB? |

QUOTE(362436 @ Apr 22 2016, 02:39 PM) QUOTE(Netto Hikari @ Apr 22 2016, 02:40 PM) Umobile is way faster than celcom . Speed is really good. I am really surprised with the speed. Majority of hotspots have good coverage. No issues . If you are around kl, subang , pj then no issues. For umobile there are certain places where memang no line. But no big issue unless you are at the same plc for the whole day. Celcom line really teruk. They might hv good coverage but the line/signal quality sucks. Always always 1-2 bars only. And alot places slow speed. |
