Most probably push the new unit for Christmas but the asian version will be out 4-7 months after that. At least that long I think.

actually i think the white casing and default faceplate = very airbrush friendly

I did or rather, GH did it for me. Took an hour. I traded in my premium for the elite last year after it severely scratched my Oblivion and Halo 3 LE. While waiting I drove home to take money to pay for the sku upgrade =p There was a side effect though. My Halo 3 save file didn't work and I had to start the stage again (I wasn't very far off anyway). Every other game has been fine.

need a data migration cable to do the transfer. if u get the official, u wont lost any of ur save file as the cable transfer all the data in ur 20gb hdd. but remind, once u do the transfer, ur 20gb hdd will be wipe all after the transfer, that what i read. im still waiting if i got luck getting the data migration cable for free hehehe....
