When my dad passed away in China, he has a property in Hainan, China.
The grant has his name, his China wife and her son. What rights have we on this piece of property?

Yes, they have. Lately I found out that we can submit our claim with birth certs and passports but subject to their local land office approval. That also only on 1/3 of the property.

QUOTE(etan26 @ Apr 25 2016, 04:54 PM) Yes, they have. Lately I found out that we can submit our claim with birth certs and passports but subject to their local land office approval. That also only on 1/3 of the property. It's going to be a pain dealing with Chinese government officials as they are legally married in China. Some more your fighting against its own citizen. Nightmare. Consult lawyer see what can be done best. But I assume the chances are bleak. |
