Bought brand new MSI H61M P23 (B3). The board having problem once i receive it, need send back to China for warranty (buyer need to cover the cost for sending to China) which is quite expensive. Decided to repair at local Motherboard specialist instead of risking damage by courier service when send back from China after done repair. Btw seller is very responsive and helpful.

QUOTE(AliBaBa_King @ Sep 11 2019, 05:20 PM) Bought brand new MSI H61M P23 (B3). The board having problem once i receive it, need send back to China for warranty (buyer need to cover the cost for sending to China) which is quite expensive. Decided to repair at local Motherboard specialist instead of risking damage by courier service when send back from China after done repair. Btw seller is very responsive and helpful. I take back my previous post's word, i've very bad experience dealing with this guy, it wasnt his service sucks. It's either the board he send me is faulty or incompatible. Actual board i wanted to get is actually a Brand new Gigabyte H61M-HD2 HDMI MATX, after i made the payment this seller told me the board is out of stock but he never update it on his thread. So i decided to go for Brand New MSI H61M-P23 (B3). Once i receive the board, there is issue where the PC will auto shut down without any warning when i gaming halfway or installing game with large file. I've doned troubleshooting myself, by changing all the part except the motherboard and even bring it to technician (which i posted on this thread earlier) and the technician also comment that the board is unstable. So i decided to go for warranty claim since the technician didnt tamper the motherboard. When i receive my replacement board back from warranty, it is a used board with dust and all those metal part is rusty. I send back the replacement to seller in order for him to get me a brand new replacement motherboard. He given me a choice of two motherboard which is MSI H61M-S26 V2 and ASUS H61-PLUS, i decided to take ASUS H61-PLUS as clearance/gap between RAM slot clip and PCIE slot is far enough to install big GPU with backplate. I've told this seller about my GPU is quite big (Sapphire RX570 Pulse) and need a motherboard with some clearance between RAM and PCIE slot earlier. After i receive another Brand new replacement motherboard which is MSI H61M-S26 V2. First, I dont know why he gave me selection to choose when he didnt send me the board i requested for earlier.Second, he keep stating that the board i originally bought is MSI H61M-S26 V2 but the board i originally bought is MSI H61M-P23 (B3), its two totally different board. Now my GPU cant install onto the PCIE slot due to RAM clip is blocking it unless i remove backplate of the GPU, i told this issue to this seller but he doesnt want to admit his fault and even blame me for not letting him know about this issue earlier. After search back our conversation history, i do informed him earlier about this issue i having with another board i currently owned. I decided not to waste my time anymore as this whole process has already taken 3 months and i need to deliver this PC to a buyer. Just accept this motherboard even though the GPU cant install onto it. To all the buyer plan to buy from him, please be prepare to receive a faulty or incompatible motherboard and wasted your time. The total cost i've spend here can actually purchase a better used board from local personal seller/ lowyat plaza (from a trusted shop). PS: All the motherboard is coming from China which the seller didnt mentioned about it. The board might be damaged during delivery. This post has been edited by AliBaBa_King: Nov 15 2019, 06:07 PM |

The total cost i've spend here can actually purchase a better used board from local personal seller/ lowyat plaza (from a trusted shop). PS: All the motherboard is coming from China which the seller didnt mentioned about it. The board might be damaged during delivery. 1)Buyer bought brand new board GA H61M-DS2, informed buyer item out of stock, and then buyer agree on MSI H61M-S26, paid, item mailed to buyer 2)Buyer received board state board got issue(will turn off when gaming), return for warranty, seller checked item it doesnt seems to have problem and recorded all the boot up videos and all given to buyer, buyer says it definitely got problem, so proceed with warranty, courier 50/50 split with seller as agreed in terms and mail for warranty 3)Buyer received a warranty replacment board after awhile MSI H61M-P23, buyer state item is not brand new anymore and is not S26 version and argued the warranty replacement is bad, seller do not want argue so seller ask buyer send back to him, seller give buyer brand new board H61M-S26 again from own wallet, courier fee is paid by all paid by seller, everything free of charge. Incase new MSI H61M-S26 don't have instock, seller informed buyer if no stock will give ASUS H61-PLUS, if got stock it will give buyer what buyer originally bought, courier fee is paid by seller, buyer agree. 4)Buyer received brand new board MSI H61M-S26 again, this time buyer complaint he actually wanted ASUS H61-PLUS and the H61M-S26 that buyer originally bought is not what he wanted after all because buyer found out his graphic card is too big and can't slot. Buyer received exactly the item he paid for, buyer request full refund and everything and seller refused because buyer received exactly the item MSI H61M-S26 that he paid for, buyer then decided to inform seller he will leave negative review if no refund. PS: Buyer suffered 0 financial losses, buyer ended up with BRAND NEW H61M-S26 in possession as that was what buyer originally agree on and bought. P/S: Buyer reasoning of "either the board he send me is either faulty or incompatible", sometimes motherboard if got issue thats why there is warranty, and buyer got back another brand new H61M-S26. if its incompatible that is not seller's fault, the model is correctly sent and received as what buyer's paid for, how is that become seller's fault when buyer's reasoning of incompatible his graphic card is too big and cannot slot in the mobo, model number and name is given before hand for research.
