Disappointed buying from this seller. Wanted to buy a "Brand New" GIGABYTE GA-H61M-DS2 for RM239. I paid RM250 including postage, waited for a week and received a different item. I received a GIGABYTE GA-H61M-S1 instead. I contacted him via whatsapp and he explains that yes I did get a different item but its superior than the one I ordered. Which is nice but there is a problem.

Problem is the one I received doesn't look like its "brand new" as advertised on his post. In fact it's not even listed in his brand new section. Seller says that the list is not always updated.

It does not have the original box, it came with an ordinary box. CPU socket is only covered with a piece of paper. CPU bracket has rust on it. Definitely not what I expected from a brand new unit. Which lead me to believe that this is not brand new unit. But seller insist and guarantees that this is brand new and never used. He even showed me what a new and used one looks like.

Seller is willing if I want to return it but at this point I'm not sure if I want to spend the hassle of doing that. It's already a big hassle looking for this board and getting into this mix up is not helping. It's really hard to find a board this old nowadays and only found a few people selling boards like this.

So just know what you are getting into if you are planning to buy from this seller.

the item u ordered was h61m-d2v, but u gotten a even better item h61m-s1, i dont see any issue here.

the moment u sent me the picture of the motherboard, u already started to use it and attached your memory ram on it...(what the?)

As for the "rust" that u claim? for certain new stocks, a few small dot of black ink is due to motherboard is 5 years old "new" item, when it has been kept for so long a little small dot appearing on the processor socket is not something to be surprise off, not every stocks is that way, but the item is guarantee unused and sealed for a long time.

and u the board u received is 100% a brand new item, it is an old "new stock" which left in storage for a long time. i have offered u to return and swap for another item if u disastify, but u refused.

i dont see the disappointment here? you could have at least thank me for providing new and unused h61m motherboard. and is 100% guarantee for return if u disastify as i quote even if u already started using it, seriously...if u dunwan to return it, dont complaint about it.

Just putting it here, there is a customer after he bought and received his used z77p-d3, he found a spot on the lga1155 cpu heatsink mounting hole, where there is black marker ink, instead of just testing the motherboard and if got anything like mobo not working, can pm for replacement as it has a 1 to 1 exchange 7 days warranty.

I have told him in whatsapp that on receival of item, please test the motherboard first, he is not allowed to change anything on the motherboard or try to remove the marker with any substances, but the customer instead, insist on using some strong alcohol rub and remove the ink and telling me about how he exposed the copper track.

please when you received your board, the warranty period is given, just test the mobo upon receive, if there is any issue, just pm and inform and ask for a replacement, don't attempt to repair or try anything yourselves, it will consider tampering and warranty voided.
