hongkong is good for experience but not for long term... if you plan to go there 2-3 years to get something interesting on your resume then go for it.

i worked in hk for 3 years - exited june 2015 ... average expenses (per month) -

rent = 12,000 (cwb area)
food = i budgeted 100 per meal x 3 meals x 30 days = 9,000
mobile / internet / utilities = 500
octopus card top up = 500
