Hi,

Previously I was using Microsoft Surface Pro 3 and using it together with Microsoft Arc Bluetooth Mouse.

Now I am using the Microsoft Arc Bluetooth Mouse with my MacBook Air and can pair and use without any problem.

However, once a while or after switch off and switch on, the MacBook Air cannot connect to the MS Arc Mouse and I have to remove the Mouse from the bluetooth list and pair again then only connected to use.

Any solution for this?

Thanks.

Unfortunately it had something to do not with the mouse, most probably to do with the Bluetooth unit on your laptop. The best way to confirm it is to try the MS Mouse with another Mac.

I had the same issue with my Macbook 12" as well with the Logitech MX Anywhere 2. But I tried resetting the Macbook and clearing the PRAM, it doesn't disconnect as frequent as before. Actually so far the connection has been stable (meaning everything I restart or open my Macbook from sleep) the mouse connects.

Tested the new Macbook 12" 2017 model, the new keyboard is slightly better over the first generation, a little bit more extra travel but is still slightly lacking IMHO.

same. always feel that macbook pro 13 is the best overall laptop to meet most of the needs. tongue.gif

alternatively, may go for iMac instead since it is also very powerful.

The problem happens in MAC Os itself? Or it also happens while it is in Windows OS.

Actually I got consider this mouse since I am using the one port 12-inch macbook.

Is it good?

I am still using this eol mouse G602, it is a perfect mouse for me. Big and very comfortable to hold and even it is wireless but it has no lag at all. It is perfect for gaming too although I do not play games on laptop.

There is another Bluetooth mouse by Logitech. Looks quite nice. Dun know is it good or not.

Eventually if I used the Bluetooth mouse for my 12-inch macbook, I do not need to use the USB-c multi adapter.

Magic mouse is the best mouse for mac lol. If for gaming....well, should get windows instead of a mac hehe

i am doing gaming on my mac at all. i only do console gaming.

i like the logitech gaming mouse because of the comfort and size.

i had owned a magic mouse previously when I was using the macbook pro 2015 15-inch. I must say the mouse sxxks. totally not good to use. way too flat and small for a big hand to comfortably use it.

i will not never buy a magic mouse ever again until they redesign it to be better.

the magic touchpad 2 is totally different case, it is as good as macbook force touchpad or in fact better.
i will certainly opt for magic touchpad 2 instead of magic mouse 2.

Tried the new macbook 2017 also. But seriously cannot tell the difference.

Maybe becos my macbook 2016 I have the Moshi keyboard protector on all the time so it already added a little bit more tactile feeling to t.
