Maybe,  but by disable apps optimization, it did save battery.
My battery drain 10-15% overnight before that

Another way to check the battery consumption is that you go to the battery manager, and check the power usage details, then there is a (i) logo. and click on it, will have a bar showing 07:15-08:15 (example) and then at the bottom will have the top 4 battery using apps.

You can drag the bar left and right to see which apps consume battery abnormally, especially when you are sleep / idle.

I think I know what you mean.. . No some apps can't be shown correctly with EMUI.  Another example is Internet Speed Manager from Playstore.

Its only showing the icon instead of the speed on the left status bar.

Still using the ori SP that came with the phone, so far no problems yet so am not hunting for tempered glass just yet. If I remember correctly, you're in JB right? Plenty of tempered glass available at KSL.

I think all xiaomi old model is unlocked OS

I'm using B321 now. It's EMUI 4.1. No need for root. Just download the firmware and use the dload method

Download firmware. Extract zip to get dload folder
Copy this folder to either internal memory or ext sdcard
Switch off phone. Press simultaneously both VOL n power buttons. Once you see bootup release power n release both VOL buttons once you see EMUI splash screen
Firmware will be flashed. Your phone will reboot twice
Whole process will take about 2 mins
No need root to do this as you are flashing official firmware through phone stock recovery
