Meaning your port forwarding works.
Difference between DMZ and Port forwarding....
Port Forwarding: Imagine before you do port forwarding, incoming XBL connection reach your router/modem from internet but don't know what to do with it so it ignores it not knowing that your xbox is waiting for that connection. After your do port forwarding, whenever your modem/router receives XBL type of connection it will always pass it over to your xbox to receive.
DMZ: DMZ means forward every connection from the internet to your xbox. Be it XBL connection and other type of connections as well.
Its not so safe to use DMZ compared to port forwarding the specific ports because all the unknown connections will be forwarded to your xbox as well.
Hope you can understand what I'm saying. bottom line. port forward > DMZ

You stay away only when you got the weapon. To get certain weapon you need to rush and get it b4 the opponent do. Tactics for certain maps involve around guarding certain weapons so that the masters don't get their hands on it.

There's nothing wrong with camping, especially using a sniper rifle. Sniper can assist to kill or hurt the enemy during skirmishes. Wacking only for desperate situation when kena flank or ambush but its dam useful. For me, even though i have the sniper i will still revert to shotgun on close range. dun have the balls to rush in and melee.

Errr, I hope redbull and string you two can juz make peace.
You camp or run or play hide n seek depending on situations. If you're totally outnumbered no point comitting suicide by charging. Better to hide and find opportunity to take them out 1 by 1.
But if when 1 v 1 with opponent and still wanna hide and try to run down the time then thats not very nice to the dead ppl waiting to play the next round.
In certain situation where you are up against a super pro that going head to head with him/her is a definate mati, then running down the clock and hide can be a strategy too. To make the opponent commit mistake and chainsaw the fella.
There's one game I played, where all 3 of us died already, left ghostdevice alone hiding behind the crate behind the warehouse of the fuel depot map. Ghost juz stand there and move around the crate when 1 enemy came to scout the area. He moved as the enemy is going to circle the crate. He was so stealth that the enemy moved one circle around the crate also cannot c him. He drawed that round and we got a chance to try to win the next round again.

I need to jump in the defend for shotgun users now. Lets not make it sound like shotgun users are all mindless impatient players juz wants to frag.
Eg at the canals map. I use my shotgun to defend torque bows from alkt, icekepal and syuji. And got them quite a number of times until they changed their strategy to not get it. If I were to use lancer, they can happily take it and jump back for cover.
This debate on using shotgun is not tactical, to camp and to not camp is not getting anywhere. Just enjoy the game whether killing or being kill. Its having fun playing among each other in this community that matters.

QUOTE(stringfellow @ Jan 25 2007, 03:48 PM) Question: If someone coops with you, does he get the same achievement as you do? I was coop-ing with iOnStorm last night, and he wanted to get the Dom achievements as well as getting past the chapters in Insane. Can i host the coop, therefore letting him be Dom, and still allow him to get the chapter achievements? FYI, i've finished my Insane chapters, but need a few more COG tags to collect, while iOnStorm had them all almost. Yes if he also completed the entire chapter. During coop as long as either 1 of the of the player haven't pick up the cog tag it will appear.

Is there a chainsaw glitch? Last I remember is that you can chainsaw urself when picking up a lancer.
The 180 chainsaw method i used again gnome is not a glitch is someone is wondering. Its juz useful when you are being chased and you turn 180 around and chainsaw the fella.

Yup glitch will spoil the game. But its not hard to counter if you are aware. 1 lancer bullet can stop it. Dun think I will use it often la. I only want to use it on firearm5
