V3250 AMD Turion X2 1.60Ghz (Dual Core), 80GB SATA Hard disk, 512 RAM DDR2 667Mhz, 3 USB ports, 1 IEEE 1394 port plus Glossy Casing then still WIFI b/g.

But my opinion is Turion 64 2.0Ghz are faster than Turion X2 in term of speed. Then come to multitasking it was different story already...

Yes you're right, but it was just advertisement strategy make product always fresh!

Basically, their hardware still same like motherboard, chipset, GPU, RAM Spec. I saw CPU upgrading and extra hardware quantity also extra quantity on connectivity ports like USB and IEEE 1394.

HP V3000 is best buy now for me... HP make their product great and cheaper... it was company brand re-building strategy (I think lor) to beat Dell to become no. 1 and conquer world market. So take this advantage... as a consumer will get product plus good price!

Don't waste your money for so called high line spec! huhuhuhuhuhu....

SAN FRANCISCO--Intel unveiled a new generation of its Centrino notebook technology as well as the ultramobile PC during afternoon keynote speeches at the Intel Developer Forum on Tuesday.

As previously reported, Santa Rosa is the code name for the next iteration of Centrino, which is a combination of a mobile processor, chipset and wireless chip, said Sean Maloney, executive vice president and head of Intel's Mobility Group.


Santa Rosa will arrive in the first half of 2007, according to Maloney, though sources have put the expected launch around March of that year. Santa Rosa will accommodate the Merom processor that's expected to launch later this year but will feature a new chipset called Crestline that's designed to improve graphics performance.

Kedron, the new wireless chip in Santa Rosa, will support the 802.11n standard expected to be ratified early next year. But Wi-Fi networks such as 802.11n are only one part of Intel's wireless vision. The company continues to push WiMax technology as a future wide-area-network standard that could deliver data signals at broadband speeds over areas the size of cities.

Maloney demonstrated a single-chip Wi-Fi/WiMax radio that could connect to either network, as well as a WiMax PC card that could allow current-generation notebooks to hook up to WiMax networks. The WiMax PC card was running the mobile version of WiMax, which was recently approved by the IEEE.

yup the most notable addon from santa rosa is the implemented WiMAX ...so infuture WiMAx would be a common acc in a notebook just like how Wifi would be lol ..

so it is actually worth to wait for if u plan to use WiMAX ..lol

the x3000 is to replace the GMA950 integrated graphics ..x3000 would run aero and vista GUI better as claimed ..

wonder y they use x3000 ..the name like ATI hehe ...

ops sorry hehe ..coz it looks like Intel Pro wireless icon hehe ...i guess infrarend symbols are not standardize since my acer also not same the infrered symbol ..

nope... no Bluetooth Devices in device mgr.... i guess no built in bluetooth then... 

well the symbol could be the Wireless symbol... but still pretty weird place to put it... like it got some other purpose for it.....
