Yes, AMD suck the power faster. But performance wise it was not so bad. I do test with run on multiple apps on it like do graphic editing, video editing, surfing the web and play the mp3...

The result is AMD Turion X2 still can counter on it. Without hang at all.

Do u believe that AMD Turion 64 (Single Core) are more faster than Turion X2 Dual Core TL-50. Based on my experience used this 2 cpu before and now.

Then u have to claim warranty faster with HP. It is sign that ur battery going to faulty.

Yup, to jusify this power issue is buy another battery from HP with greater cell quantity in battery.

More cells meaning more hours lor...!

HP was provided 9 cells but not sure about 12 cells as an optional accessories upgrade.

I don't know whether my V3203TU's driver compatible with yours or not.. Coz I got full installed drivers from HP company itself. Can your sis's laptop able to use USB port?

oh no....my new v3000 hangs every few hrs when i m using it...and its not consistent...how do i proof it to claim warranty??

dun worry juz take to them and tell ur problem ..they will check for you with their equipments ...if got problem sure can detect ..mostly hehe

you cant just bring ur lappie to the service centre,u have to call them then tell them the problem,if the problem cannot be solve,then they will give u a service number then only u can bring it to the service centre...sux rite?!

it's normal. don worry. It's because of the processor power consuming. If u use more processor  power then the battery decrease fast lor. i forgot the name of the technology la..try search  this thread.

No need d and YES   YES , finally i managed to installed the drivers d...I used the notebook itself browse to hp website and let the website detect and direct me to the drivers download site. I just curios that before this i tried key in manually the notebook model and the p/n number, it direct me to the same page but that times the audio and modem drivers not in the page, weird huh

Conclusion: i have download total 27 drivers to install and now i dunno which one that is useful to the notebook. So i will just burn all the installer to a cd and ask my sis dun ever and tried to lost to cd....haha...

Try download the HP synaptics pointing driver... Usually, it press mute not even a decibel sound could be heard..

Really hard to believe that his V3203TU is equipped with Nvidia chipset.. Maybe HP manufacturer wrongly installed a GC in his unit?

i think the main reason maybe ur driver gc is not same wit ur hardware ? so it keeps restart ?

7200 is GC, so mean most probably using 945PM IF it really come with dedicated GP.... so just double check with motherboard and GP...

so a normal V3203TU shows wat in bios? mine outlook same as normal compaq series but in bios its written pavilion dv2000. i tot it used hp board so its written there pavilion dv2000 series

mine V3010au also showed Dv2000 one ler... i asked the staff there whether any changes in the drivers or what... they said its the same

OMG! now i got another problem again.. the active armor firewall i unable to change the profile.. i keep select medium but it keep stay at "OFF" proflie.. i try restore or anything it still the same.. using window xp..
