I would only wanted to share out, what is the exact path that has been downloaded thru OTA (for people out there that keeps on wondering what is the original path)

* please note that when you received the OTA, you might not be able to see the file when you connected your phone to your computer, but you can only see it from your file manager. (the file properties seems has been set to hidden)
* you can use your file manager to copy the file over to your ext memory card. From there, you can now own the file by transferring over to your computer.

Yaa, most likely like a scam link. Honor 7e almost barely to have the B340 update.    I think we all can predict that Nougat will not be anytime soon for Honor 7.
Just wondering, how does B340 going on so far for you guys out there? Anyone tried the Adoptable Storage yet? My finger a lil bit itchy to proceed with it 

weirdly enough, ever since I wrote here about my whatsapp problem, my whatsapp works fine. i dunno what happened but the notification works everytime I have a message. lol

I also notice this 2 days is quite normal.
Past weekend I tried the lock apps from the "clear RAM". Press the square then pull down but still no alert. Then I check got banner but no sound. Since then I release the lock until now is working fine.

No. Already up 72hours. Sunday evening only release then leave it there. Night no incoming so don't know.
But yesterday I got clear RAM, Phone manager -> system optimization -> clear don't know what. And keep pressing B340 until developer mode

Anyway, let's continue.

* You need to revert back to stock recovery in order to proceed with the update. Otherwise, I don't think it will work.
If let say anyone like me (coming from B330) wish to upgrade to B340

1. Download here (this is the original OTA that I get from B330)

2. Create a folder: (don't ask me why is it 55804, that is what I saw in my phone directory)
sdcard\HwOUC\55804

3. Paste the update.zip (1.57Gb) that you downloaded earlier) in that 55804 folder.

4. Then, either the system will detect automatically for the updates, or you can manually go to:
Settings - Update - Quick Update (or similar like it)

* if that doesn't work, you can manually again, create a folder called
sdcard\dload
* paste update.zip in dload folder

let us know, which one is workable so that i can note it down in my log book. 

emm, this is though to answer. my opinion might be different from other people. need to know, what is the exactly purpose.
For me, my motive is a bit complicated. I want to root my phone + have a X-Posed installed. I tested from B130. Rooted is successful, but xPosed installer doesn't work.
Keep waiting until B330 release. + manage to root it + have Xposed installed.  (no problem with notification) = happy ending customer here 

So when you ask me, do I encourage, I do not know how to answer that. Because I am still in B330. Both B330 & B340 is running on EMUI 4.0 - but if it has a major change on EMUI 4.1, i might considered.

All I can see,
* if you are from B330 then you downgrade to B130, then you upgrade to B340... seems the way to get to the update is a bit challenging. (but it's good for your knowledge)

* if you are from B330 then you upgrade directly to B340, which would make it more sense. Because, why use the longer way, when there is a shorter way. 

Both way, will still get you to the point. It's either you choose a longer path, or shorter.

I think it maybe a lil bit different. The one that you had earlier with 1.2Gb are coming from B130 - potentially dedicated for users from B130 only (theoretically, I think  )
And the one with 1.5Gb that I upload it, are for users from B330.
I do not know if there is any different code or not / partition /write to system path

Anyway, your phone right now is still in B330 or have downgrade to B130?

Hi, Anyone has problems with their phone signal since the last update? I continously get No Signal messages.

It keeps on flip flopping between emergency calls only & signal. (My Carrier is Digi)

I upgrade my kernel just now and noticed that the charging is faster than usual + battery drain is slower. 
When you guys  battery were on 63%, what is the estimate balance / hour / minute left stated on your phone?

But, you are coming from B130, and the file you downloaded were from B330 OTA - and works for you? nice.  :thumbsup:

If you have successful upgraded to B340 + rooted. I would suggest to change the kernel that I shared the link before. I notice a lot of user commented at that forum - do not have anymore notification issue when change to that kernel

U using celcom? Before i update alrdy realised the problem

updated to latest b340 using OTA and factory reset done

Pros
-Smooth
-Camera improved a bit
-More user friendly
-Wifi better than b130
-Android M Doze is working as expected..awake in the morning..only 1% of battery gone.

Cons
-Charging became much slower 20% to 100% took me 2hour while on b130,took me 1hour 45minits.
-Battery manager is confusing,have to press hardware under consumption level to view my SOT.Prefer b130 where i can straightforward see how much is my battery stat and SOT.
-Fingerprint and double touch to awake is much slower due to the animation.

Other than that..it good to use...
