2years and 1 month..still going strong..just when playing digimon links got little bit lag..

Hello fellow Honor 7 users! I'm currently looking to buy this phone at Rm689 from lazada. This phone came out for some time already. So do you guys still recommend buying it now? Or it's better to get another phone?

A decent phone that can last long. haha.. but ya, camera is important too.

I looked at some new huawei phones with this price range and found that their specs are lower than this honor 7. That's why I'm looking into this.

What's the difference between h7e and h7? Just the OS version and the difference in internal memory?

Hi everyone , i've been using this phone for 2 years and i'm still using the default rom but i have been struggling with battery drain , only managed to run youtube and facebook for 1 hour and a half from (100%->9%)... tried to switch off the phone for 1 hour and the battery boosts back by 20%? anyone has the same problem?

haih for my case, i regret didn't just change the battery. now my battery gone crazy, maybe merajuk because i was thinking of changing it the other day. 

now once i use heavily and the battery drops to +/- 40%, that's when it starts to go haywire, it will drop rapidly and become 0% in no time, and when charge, battery indicator will show like not changing (battery % doesn't increase) despite it being fast charge, then after several restart, the battery will show 100%. 

I know this thread for Honor 7.

But today I went to Honor store and tested the 7X model. I'm impressed with the build quality. For a midrange phone, the phone feels fast when tried open apps, scroll, snap pics and other stuff

This phone is much much better than the overpriced Oppo F5 and Vivo V7+ that cost RM1300++

I tried Oppo F5 but it feels so sloww compared to Honor 7X.

Surprisingly it supports 4G+ with carrier aggregation (option under Settings), tested using U Mobile .

P20 now dropped price already, way cheaper now, might want to consider it before sst kicks in.

first thing i noticed is speed, p20 pro is way faster but then again this is expected as p20 pro is new and a flagship as compared to honor 7 which is mid range.

if you uses smart key at honor 7 then you will definitely miss it.

way better camera, but this is expected as well.

p20 pro apps management remains the same as honor 7, maybe slight changes in terms of setting but the general idea remains the same.

not too sure about double tap to wake screen, but you can lift up and tilt the phone to turn on screen.

for alarm, yes i think it will still ring even though the phone is off, i have not tried it, but when i tried to turn off my phone, it will have an option to keep the alarm active.

i got my Note 9 for 2 weeks ago. Very good phone, except a lil bit heavy. Overall, it's like buying a BMW.

is everything smooth and reasonable battery consumption ?

anyone still using honor 7?my honor 7 battery is not normal..i just changed to a new battery few months ago,but now it drained very fast,less than 6 hours with not heavy usage..also full charge very fast,less than 1 hour..only 5 apps protected,but it drained sooo freaking fast..got any idea guys?

my Phone keep restart non stop, any solution for this?

managed to uninstall a few memory consuming app, able to stop the restart loop since then. time to change phone i guess.

5 years using Honor 7, 3 times changed battery, now the time has come to upgrade.. it has been a very good smartphone.. 5 years using it smoothly without any software issues..only battery issue..even change to a new battery, still drain like hell..dono if board issue or watsoever..the most thing im gonna miss is the 8mp front camera..very good and 'real'..not fake (flawless/beauty) like nowadays smartphone..now gonna use it as 2nd phone (already changed new battery, new back case+fibre sticker, new tempered glass,and its look like new again!)..thanks Honor 7!
