Anybody manage to get rebate for SST on OCBC credit card recently?

The CS told me they stop giving rebate / waiver since Sep21.. that’s y I just wonder how true is it.. I will wait for my statement generated and pay off with cashback left with the SST then cancel the card..

they rejected my request for SST rebate and claimed that no more rebate since 1 Sep 2021.

So, i decided to cancel the card, and they retain me by giving me RM25 rebate. So, try at ur own risk...

r u sure is no sst or you didnt notice they charge it and reverse it automatically? or you've paid it without knowing...

So far, they have been charging me SST every year.. i also apply 3 years back...this year is 4th year.. every year request for SST rebate and get it.. only this year a bit hassle that need to cancel only they offer..

just direct to agent instead of self service.

as usual, even self service also need to review and subject to mgmt approval.

If OCBC Titanium & OCBC WMC, both can get for gov txn

So, generally just 2.15% unless u have investment.

Can choose not to take their debit card? N wat is the max deposit to entitle the 2.15%? Like OCBC 360 max only 100k

They only offer to waive it after I submit cancellation request

I normally call b4 SST charged on my card and get their confirmation if no sst waiver, I can still cancel without paying.

Yes, they told me wait sst charged first n call them to ask for waiver subject to mgmt approval. But, I get their confirmation if no waiver, I can still cancel without paying the sst.

When sst charged, they said can't waive, so I asked to proceed for cancellation n the retention unit call me n offer sst waiver.

Sadnya, government txn also excluded already.

Yes, I didn’t opt for debit card.

May I know r u expecting 7% cashback with minimum spending of RM1000 and above? It seem 1 is for online/EWallet cadbback, the other one is for all other retail spending cashback

I also having the same problem.. it is from kiplepay .. is ur case settle?

RM0 OCBC: Your Titanium card's cashback for June 2023 is inaccurate. We adjusted it on 7 July 2023 and you will see the correct amount in the next statement.

else, digital bank interest is better than normal bank interest.

then, better put into digital bank if the amount is not material..

I guess u need to call bank to ask where n how to redeem, maybe can redeem via call centre like MBB
