For what I understand, that was just his pure assumption. How the hell he's going to know when will the mobo is gonna be kong-ed. Ok, it was the bulging caps, thus he made that assumptions. But, by your statement the mobo you sold to him is still working fine, ain't it? And yeah, no warranty was given why should you held responsible for it. Just to be fair, do whatever suggested by others.
