The temp reported by speedfan is the mobo/bios temperature de. Please use coretemp or TAT to report your idle and load temps aight. Cheers.

me also have the same problem with speedfan. THe 12v rail (and a lot of other things) is wacko in there. However, everest seems to be working just fine.

IDLE TAT temperature: 45-47
Orthos LOAD TAT temperature: 60-63
CPU Cooling Solution Name: Zalman 9700
Ambient temperature: no aircond

Biostar 965PT has problem in running TAT, coretemp is the next choice.

Core 2 Duo Processor: E6300
Overclocked to @ vcore: default
IDLE TAT temperature: 37
Orthos LOAD TAT temperature: 41
CPU Cooling Solution Name: TT BIG Typhoon
Ambient temperature: -

Orthos LOAD TAT temperature: 17 hrs 50 mins Core Temp:79C Speedfan: 64C
CPU Cooling Solution Name: Swiftech Storm G4 + MCP655 + Thermochill PA120.2
Ambient temperature: 34C No Aircon

Overclock limited by VS rams - waiting for D9GMH Super Talents to arrive

As this is an ES Proc, Core Temp reports temps wrongly due to Tjunction of 100. Error in offset by 15C. Speedfan 4.32 has this corrected.

This is my setup for my daily use:

Core 2 Duo Processor: E6300
Overclocked to @ vcore: 3.2 GHz @ 1.4v
IDLE TAT temperature: 55c (no aircond)
Orthos LOAD TAT temperature: 65c (Small FFTs 45mins)
CPU Cooling Solution: CoolerMaster Hyper48
Ambient temperature: Around 32c

TAT Read 63c on load but Everest shown 65c.

which temp recorder give the most accurate result?

guys, i cant run TAT on my e6600. what could it be... proc batch or mobo?

E6600@ stock everything.
