My budget is around RM10k and both photography and video is important to me.

Is 4-K important ?

I read about the 500 and 750 but cannot decide which to get, any idea or any other recommendation ?

I chose D750
1. Cheaper
3. Smaller/lighter
4. Excellent IQ & in low light
5. FF

....Etc

If video is important for u, go for d500..however better wait few months after 1st batch.

How about battery lasting and charging ?
Each time charge takes how long ?

I am using Nikon L 820 with great results and better photography experience.

How much now and how old this modal already ?
Fixed lens or changeable ?
How is the video function ? Good ?

Battery ok lah... no complaint.
Take 2.5 hrs to fully charge..
The main reasons I chose 750 over 500 are FF,cheaper price rm6k vs rm10k, and slightly better IQ I think.

Which lens did you choose and how much it cost ?

Now only have 2 lens..bought used but still very good cond (luck I guess)
1. Nikon 85mm 1.8G - rm1200
2. Tamron 24-70 - rm2850

When to a shop at Low Yat ground floor but the person said never heard of 500, strange.

If you can ask that question, clearly it's not important to you.

Besides, 4K video takes up a lot of space and requires a lot more computing power to render, and how many people you know view videos at 4K?

If picture quality is better and futuristic, why not ? I cannot afford to change camera soon ,so thinking of getting a good one and need not change soon.

D500 won't be cheap. It has its strengths but 4K video - up to you, even now people aren't going that path because it's unnecessary overhead in many aspects.

if you can give your clients (wedding clients may be) 4K video, i'm sure they will appreciate...
